Fetch screwed us with outrageous rate increase

We have used Fetch pet insurance since they were PetPlan. We've had many policies for various dogs because we run a nonprofit dog rescue. We insured our rescue dogs while waiting to be adopted. We insured our own pet dogs. We recommended them to everyone. $15000 coverage per year. How would that make any sense to pay. So now we are forced to cancel her policy which means any other company will not cover any pre-existing conditions she's had throughout her life. So they totally screwed us and that shows just how little they care about customer service and providing care for their customers and their pets. Do NOT get a policy from Fetch. It may seem good when you first get it but it will go up in price every year significantly and when they get old and really need their health insurance you will no longer be able to afford it. Go with another company that actually cares about pets and not just making money. They sure don't care!

Good Customer Service experience

The customer service rep Lexi was very friendly & kind and she answered all my questions & concerns. Been noticing all the customer service reps Ive interacted with are helpful & they do resolve issues fairly quickly. Anytime Ive had a discrepancy with any billings or reimbursements, they have been good about addressing my concerns and they have so far corrected all issues & send out additional missing reimbursements or will correct bills if overcharged by accident. Bc they have friendly customer service reps willing to listen to the customer’s issues & then find the proper resolutions, I will continue using Embrace & would recommend to others, bc I can say from my experience with using Embrace, that if there are any issues, Embrace is good about fixing those issues appropriately. Thanks!

why claims take 30plus days from…

why claims take 30plus days from submission to authorization [and longer to pay] is beyond comprehension. and why embrace won't allow providers to file the claims directly is also beyond comprehension [except that they are counting on the insured to not file claims at all or not timely].

You NEED insurance and Healthy Paws is the best!

I got my Pup, Jethro, at 3 months old and I got healthy Paws Insurance when he was 2, Never knowing I was going to need it as quickly as I did. I expected to use it in his old age to make sure he was happy and healthy for as long as possible. After we were in the yard trimming bushes, I noticed he had a slight limp and brought him to the vet, they told me that he would work it out and be fine, knowing HP would cover it, i pushed for an x-ray. This is when they found the cancer tumor in his back left knee, the prognoses was bleak, we went from oncologist to oncologist and they all said, 6 to 8 months to live. We brought him to UF in Florida and their doctors said the same. We went through removing the leg with cancer, went through chemo, found out that Dr Mamula from Yale had a vaccine and Jethro aggressively fought for his life. He beat the odds, only to find out 4 years later he had another tumor in his kidney, renal carcinoma, and we had the kidney removed and another round of chemo. 2 years later, he was cancer free again beating all the odds against him! Jethro celebrated his 10th birthday in August and it was all made possible BECAUSE of Healthy Paws insurance, the ease of putting in a claim and the quick deposit to my bank account. I believe that Jethro wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for Healthy Paws Insurance!
