While I did not have a negative experience, Pets Best takes an exceeding long time to process claims, and I still have not received my payout from my most recent claim. I also don't like that the EOB gives you minimal information to figure out questions regarding your claim

Emma’s Vet bills - Diabetes/Other
MetLife Pet insurance has been highly supportive and has reimbursed me for many Vet visits over the last few months. As my best friend (Miss Emma-Yellow Lab) was diagnosed with Diabetes as 10 year old dog recently. Most importantly, the exams and treatments can get expensive; I am relieved to have a strong partner and that can help improve Emma’s quality of life; and I can get financial help to cover a significant portion of Emma’s Vet bills . As a household with multiple pets, having Spot insurance has been invaluable in being able to provide the care our furry companions deserve. The variety of coverage options allowed us to tailor multiple plans that are just right for us. It pays to take the time to explore all the different coverage options. We really like that Spot includes coverage for some regular preventative care treatments. When it comes to submitting claims, the process is straightforward and fast, we found it best to convert documents to .PDF when we upload them. We were pleasantly surprised by how quickly we received our reimbursement. Also, any questions we had were addressed promptly and thoroughly, providing us with peace of mind and confidence in Spot.
