Nationwide Pet Was Awesome!
My daughter got her dog as an emotional support animal to help her recover from mental illness. Lorde has been the difference maker in her mental health. I work at Nationwide and heard from a peer how having insurance helped them to save their son's dog, something they otherwise might not have been able to afford. I knew that my daughter would need us to do anything we could to keep Lorde with her given how much he had done and continued to do for her mental health. We decided to buy the Pet Insurance through Nationwide to ensure we wouldn't have to say no to going the distance for Lorde's health if the worst happened. When Lorde ate something that made him sick by accident and ended up needing an overnight stay in the hospital Nationwide Pet helped us do what needed to be done to keep him healthy. He's fine now and my daughter still has her best friend to help her with her emotional health. Thanks to Nationwide Pet for making it easier for us to support our daughter and Lorde!

Worth the premiums

They have served my dog well
When my mom passed I inherited her dog. I chose to keep Naionwide Ins. also that her dog has had as a puppy. The ins. has followed her through her life and she is now 13years old. It has helped keep her healthy and safe.

We do not have children, we have dogs. We started pet insurance with VPI in the early 2000 have have continued ever since. The coverage is comprehensive, clearly defined and has literally extended our pets lives by allowing us the affordable treatments needed when they arise. Our current lab, Bode was diagnosed with bilateral elbow dysplasia requiring surgery at the age of 1. The specialist who performed the surgery said it was the worse case of bone fragments removed held seen in the over 4,000 sx he'll performed. This would have been a cost prohibitive procedure had it not been for our insurance. This is only 1 or so many positive examples we have had over the years with multiple pets.

Absolutely worth having in case of pet sickness
Our two year-old cat has been suffering from intermittent vomiting. Without the insurance diagnostic tests would cost us thousands of dollars of out of pocket expenses. Insurance reimbursement was prompt and as promised (90 percent). Thanks a lot.

I urge all my friends to get Trupanion
My dog is now 4 years old. I bought Trupanion Insurance when she was a puppy and it was the best thing I did! As a lab mix that is free-range, she is running through woods and fields all the time. So far she has broken three teeth and badly cut an artery right near her heart. These were huge expenses that I never anticipated. Trupanion has an easy claim process and has reviewed and approved my claims within days - once within 24 hours. Payment is also fast. I recommend them to all my friends with dogs
