Exceptional coverage, service and peace of mind!
We are so thankful for Trupanion, it’s probably the best investment in any type of insurance we have made ever. The coverage for us has been great, wouldn’t be without it. If you have a pet, one should really take a look at Trupanion-call them to discuss their products.

Pets Best is the Best. They provide what they promise.
When I purchased insurance for my maltese, Lily of the Valley (Lily) I hoped never to have a reason for a claim. Unfortunately that was not the case. Lily had pressure on her spinal cord and needed an MRI and surgery so she could walk again. Not long after mailing the claim and medical receipts to Pets Best I received an email informing me that they received and would begin processing it. Yesterday I received notice with an explanation of benefit that the claim was approved and the money deposited into my account. This is a truly reliable company. They are the best.

Trupanion saved Lucy's Life
We noticed a strange lump on Lucy (our chocolate lab) and our vet checked it during Lucy's teeth cleaning. Our vet suspected it most likely wasn't cancer, but couldn't definitively say either way without testing. I called customer service and was leaning towards NOT sending it to pathology. A representative talked me through what would most likely be covered by insurance and her kind words helped me decide to test Lucy. It turned out Lucy's lump was cancerous, she had surgery and we're waiting to see if the surgery got all the cancerous cells but I can't thank you enough, you most likely saved her life AND on top of it, insurance covered most of her surgery. We're grateful for many reasons :)

Thank you for taking the worry of high cost Vetrinary care away.
Never in 100 years would I have thought my dog would tear an ACL, but she did. I was worried about not being able to pay for the care she needed. I thought I would be paying a credit card bill for the next 5 years. The claim was settled quickly and covered almost all of her surgery. My girl has already healed and is back to her normal routine. Thank you for taking the worry away.

Deductible service and response time for the clam
We were concerned because our 1 year old Aussie was urinating when sleeping, so we had some test run which came back negative but was given antibiotics just in case. She is fine now, we send in out vet clam and with-in a week we had a reply and acceptance of the calm which went to the deductible but overall service and response time for the clam we are very happy with Pets Best insurance, hope we never need I but it's nice to know we have dependable insurance for our dog Shiba. Happy to be with Nationwide!
I signed up for Nationwide Pet Insurance in November and recently submitted my first claims. I was very pleased with the response time to review the claims and the favorable processing of most of the claims. I switched from another company whose level of support for our two senior dogs was much lower, at an equal expense, so I am really happy with the change.

As soon as my dog got really sick, they refused the claim.
Fine for annual vet visits, vaccines, Heartguard but the second my dog got really sick, they turned down the claim. No one was available to discuss the issue. We were with the company they purchased for most of our dogs' lives, Nationwide got ahold of that company and it was all over. Two of my dogs have since passed, one of cancer. Paying for this insurance was the biggest waste of money we have ever made. Watching their commercials makes me sick.
