Wrong information from trupanion rep
When I talked to the representative before I went with trupanion, I was specifically told the spay of my dog would NOT be covered. However, I was told that the labs for the spay WOULD BE covered. I found out that was not true so I feel very misled right now with trupanion.

I called for clarification and unfortunately got a rather vague response - something along the lines of it might be covered - you should get pre-approval - which could be granted as long as it's not a pre-existing condition. We've been with Trupanion since 2015 and we submitted our first claim in 2019 for this condition which you paid out with the condition deductible - so I would imagine you might have enough information to communicate more clearly without the disclaimers... I'm taking my pet to the vet again today and I look forward to seeing exactly how you address our claim so I can post our experience on petinsurance.com.
