Good coverage in specs but they haven’t paid a dime so far on 5 covered claims
Pets Best appeared to me to have the best coverage at 90%, unlimited, $500 deductible, and with Pro plan covered regular visits. However, I have submitted 5 claims (claim process is automated and works well from a smartphone). All covered/approved within a couple of weeks During covid. So far Pets Best hasn’t paid a dime because it either went against my deductible or against co-insurance. I’m disappointed and feel it’s like regular health insurance which doesn’t cover the bills. My pet hasn’t had a large problem yet though, so maybe they’re better on catastrophic care situations.

I never thought about getting pet insurance previous to my Siberian Husky that I adopted from a Husky rescue because of all the ones I researched, this one seemed to have the best wellness insurance and again, I knew nothing about pet insurance and honestly thought it was a ruse but this is the best pet insurance to have and I highly recommend it. I took my dog to the vet for his very first checkup and he required a check for heartworms, bloodwork, a heartworm pill and the office visit, it came out to 160.00. I received a copy of my invoice got home and filed a claim on Pets Best website under my pet's insurance and it took less than a week before I was reimbursed for the office visit, heartworm check and bloodwork but not the elective heartworm medicine I purchased but a few days ago I received an email with the reimbursement invoice attached and I received 130.00 to be deposited into my account in a few days. I must say this insurance is A1 and so far so good!!!!!!!

Great response to our claim
We took our puppy to an emergency veterinary hospital when we were out of town. The hospital provided all of the required information about our pet's treatment. We submitted a claim to Figo, and Figo paid it in full and very quickly.

Beyond Amazing!
The BEST! Sadly I have had to file two large claims with Healthy Paws and cannot say enough good things about them. The claims filing process is so simple and they quickly reply, pay and check up on us too! I don't know what we would have done without this policy. Peace of mind!! Best purchase. I wouldn't own a dog w/out having pet insurance.

Like a reliable friend
Trupanion has made our life so much easier. Without their support and quick responses to doctors and hospitals we wouldn’t know what to do. We were able to save the life of our 5 year old Chipoo, Dakota, after he had a near fatal spinal injury. Trupanion was absolutely amazing! We couldn’t have done it without them. Thanks Trupanion, for caring and putting us at ease when it counted most. They are truly like an old reliable friend.

Pets Worst
Pets Best - needs to rename itself to Pet's Worst - our motto is do everything imaginable to not pay a claim. And in the unlikelihood we have to pay a claim, make sure its about $0.10 on the $1.00 of the actual bill and pay it on a 30 day+ schedule. Absolutely the worst experience/biggest scam I've ever dealt with in my lifetime!! Completely wasted 6 mos of paying a premium to this scam of a company after submitting two legitimate medical bills - where they found every possible reason not to pay or a fraction of the actual cost of the medication. Save your money and find a different Pet insurance company or you'll end-up writing a review like me after submitting a few claims!!

It was super easy to enroll and there were various coverage options to choose from. Someone from Spot even called me to follow up and informed me that the preventative coverage actually started immediately so my cat Noah’s first ver experience was actually covered. I’m already impressed.
