Claims are easy to submit via the app and we’ve always received reimbursement. Reimbursement comes via Zelle as well so it’s super fast. It’s good peace of mind to have the coverage for our pets and our policies are affordable.

"I had to call to cancel my beloved pet's insurance after making a claim because they sadly didn't end up making it and passed the next day. The rep I spoke with was so helpful as I asked questions sobbing. I have appreciated having Pets Best to always best try to care for my fur babies. I also appreciate the sympathy card that was sent a few weeks after. I will always remain with Pet's Best for my pet insurance provider. Thank you for listening and being there for me in a moment I was lost! "

Called to cancel my furbabies…
Called to cancel my furbabies insurance. The rep was able to work with me and get me a great plan within my budget. Have had Metlife for going on 2 years. All claims have been handled quickly. Would recommend this coverage for pet parents!

TERRIBLE
TERRIBLE! I'm so endlessly disappointed. I have returned to Canada after a 3-year working contract in Brazil. I arrived and signed up. Sent all the medical visits we had, which were in Brazil. Now my dog has an ear infection. I applied for a reimbursement THE DAY of the exam 2 weeks ago. For 2 weeks I'm being pushed around with ZERO reimbursement saying that you need medical files from before I signed up because the ones from Brazil aren't what you need. THERE ARE NO MEDICAL EXAMS OTHER THAN THOSE! If you can't service me because apparently you have a problem with vets from a foreign country, then give me back all the months in which I wasn't covered and paid for your scam of an insurance. Absolutely awful! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Super bureaucratic process. Zero chance to talk to anyone. I gave one star because I can't give zero.

This year has been a lot easier submitting my claim information and not needing more info. In the past I have had to send it at least one more time. My pup has been sick a lot this year and I am lucky to have pet insurance and I have referred many people.

Drastic yearly premium increases.
Claims are processed and paid pretty quick. Customer service is good. Three stars is because they raise the premiums greatly annually at policy renewal. Like 100% increase. The only way to lower it is to reduce benefits. Eventually, it just won't be worth having.

Charged after being told transaction couldn’t be completed
When checking out with the insurance policy an error appeared saying it could not be completed and to call customer service. I didn’t want to bother with that so I chose another insurance provider. Nationwide still charged me
