Our labradoodle Louis suffered an acl injury.After a consultation with a specialist it was decided an operation was necessary. This is a complicated surgery and a long recovery but the prognosis is good. We went through a lot of stress with the operation and now into recovery. It has all been hard although the medical people were wonderful and the operation appears to have been worth the pain, not to mention the expense. Trupanion have been excellent, that was one area that was stress free and painless. They answered our claim form immediately upon receiving and the money was in our hands within days. We would strongly recommend Trupanion and we have to whoever wants to listen to our story.

After spending thousands of $$ on my Golder retriever and her hip dysplasia I wanted to protect myself from these unexpected high costs. So I insured my yellow lab with the ASPCA pet insurance using the Premier plan which also covers the wellness visits and includes medications and flea & tick prevention. SO far my lad is going to be 8 and has not had any high cost problems. Actually I hope that continues into his senior years.

I selected Trupanion insurance for my white German Sheperd, SnowBear, when he was 10 1/2 and I glad I did. He had always been very healthy. Literally two months after he was insured, his groomer found a tumor by his adrenal gland when she was checking him over. It turned out to be cancerous, in fact a very aggresive form of cancer. My vet said to get him operated in immediately. The surgeon said if we had not done that SnowBear would be gone in 90 days. You can imagine my relief at having Trupanion to cover the costs of this (surgery alone was about $3,500. Then he may need radiation treatment (thankfully he did not) and chemotherapy (he did). This was also covered at the 90% rate by Trupanion, along with all the blood work, ultrasounds and xrays which continue to this day. SnowBear has finished his first round of chemotherapy and they believe he is now cancer free. They want to continue some chemotherapy and all that that entails for some time period just to be sure. For now, though SnowBear appears to be cancer free! SnowBear is alive thanks in large part to Trupanion helping with the expenses. They have been wonderful so far from my perspective.

Have an elderly Miniature Schnauzer that ended up with vestibular disease and an ruptured eardrum. The claims have been processed quickly. However, am troubled that once her policy renews anymore ear problems look like they will be treated like a preexisting condition. Unlike people policies where if your plan renews such items are not treated as preexisting and would be covered.

I've had to use my ASPCA pet insurance coverage twice in the last two years, for two different dogs. I was very pleased with both customer service and coverage. It was great to be able to concentrate on getting the dogs over their health issues rather than the cost of treatment. As a result of my experience, I have several friends who are now looking into pet insurance. I have highly recommended the ASPCA policy.

We had an ASPCA plan for our previous dog who passed away from cancer in January of 2011. They not only handled the claims quickly and fairly, they sent my family a handwritten sympathy card after she passed away. Whenever we had any worries or concerns with what was covered or not they were there. They took the time to help us in any way they could. They are the best at what they do! We now have a new plan for our new dog and they were there for us again as always. Thank you ASPCA, you have made a life long customer!!

It will pay on average a bit over 50% of your vet bill if this is what you expect. The actual claim reimbursement check was sent in close to 4 weeks. This is my second incident in 2 years and I did see some improvement.

My 10 month old puppy swallowed a bullystick whole and was choking and in pain. I had to take him to an emergency clinic where he could be monitored overnight. The bill came to $1500 to be paid up front. As Im in the waiting room a man was talking to the receptionist. His dog swallowed a corn cob and the required surgery was $7000. He didn’t have any pet insurance nor the funds to pay for the necessary operation. He decided to put his dog to sleep as he couldn’t afford the treatment. At that moment I knew I made the right decision to get pet insurance. And once I submitted my claim I new I made the right decision to go with Embrace!!! The claims process was very easy and they have excellent customer service! Embrace sent out emails confirming the receipt of the claim and notifications on where they were at in the claim review process. It was processed quickly and I received a check in the mail in about 10 days. As long as I have pets I will insure them with Embrace!

I can't even begin to express how thrilled I am with Embrace. When I got my puppy a several months later he was diagonsised with Severe Bilateral Hip Dysplasia. Thankfully I made the right choice for insurance and had him covered with Embrace the day we got him. Embrace has paid for surgery, paid for RX, paid for rehab, x-rays, consultations, etc. I do not have one negative thing to say. Honestly I could not ask for a better provider.
