I was at first hesitant to purchase healthy pet insurance for our kitty, but our daughter had always had insurance on her kitties and said it would be a small price to pay if the necessary high cost of medical procedures where to arise. She was so right! Who would have thought cats could develop bladder stones that would need surgery to save our pet's life! If we had not already been owners of full health insurance the cost of the surgery and vet stay would have been ...well we are glad that we didn't have to make those decisions based on money. The claim process was super easy and quick and we were reimbursed just as quickly. Thanks Nationwide. !

The insurance gave us extra quality days with my dog
My 14-year old dachshund, Ruffy, had a pneumonia on Christmas Day. I took him to an emergency vet and Ruffy had to stay there until the New Year's Eve. Since he had to stay in the oxygen chamber, it cost me more than $6000. Fortunately, I had an insurance with Nationwide, so I could let the vets help Ruffy with the ease of mind. I received a refund check Unfortunately, Ruffy passed away two on March 1 with bronchitis. My family are very sad with his passing, but we are so glad that we were able to enjoy the last two extra months with Ruffy. Without the insurance, we may not have been able to take him to the emergency vet in December.

Put in a claim for knee surgery for my dog. The claim was approved the next day. I wish my personal insurance was that good.

I recommend Healthy Paws to everyone!
My Healthy Paws monthly payment is smaller than almost everyone I know with pet insurance, my deductible is lower, AND my coverage is better. The only delay in getting 80% reimbursement on my dog's $4000 knee surgery was setting up direct deposit. REALLY easy, REALLY good coverage, and 100% saved my bank account when my dog blew her ACL. I made two claims with Figo this year…
I made two claims with Figo this year for my very active 9 month old lab-rottweiler mix. I submitted the statements and Vet reports as instructed and FIGO and my two claims were prompt paid. The representatives with whom I spoke concerning the claim were very cordial and helpful. The process to submit a claim was relatively painless. I was very please with the service and support I received from the claim agents. Thank you
