Good luck to anyone who didn't insure their pet from birth. They will manipulate anything they can find in your pets history to claim preexisting conditions. I'm in a battle right now over an appeal with the two veterinarians who treated my dog at total odds with Trupanion. How does it make any sense that an insurance company representative knows more than the professionals treating the animal! I've heard many similar stories. Cherry picking information with disregard to actual facts, using any means possible to deny legitimate claims, providing little to no explanation. All with a cute tagline that they care so much and hope my pet feels better soon like a slap in the face. Just another greedy insurance company. My experience has been negative five stars.

Healthy Paws is an amazing company with incredible customer service! Submitting a claim is as easy as uploading a picture of your vet bill with your phone. Reimbursement checks are received within a couple weeks and they send you an email asking how your pet is doing! This is a business that cares about it's customers. It is such a comfort knowing that my fur babies will always have access to the best available medical care. It's worth every penny!
