Caring, competent staff and super easy process from start to finish.
The caring customer service staff at Healthypaws provided rays of caring sunshine during the nightmare of our dog being run over by one of our employees. When I called in to ask a question or check the status of my claim, I had a competent and empathetic ear on the other end of the line. I was truly surprised at how much of our claim was reimbursed. I used to think pet insurance was a frivolous investment I would never use. Boy was I proved wrong when our golden Sandy was the picture of health with zero preexisting conditions at age 6 when we added a new puppy to our family. We decided to get insurance for the puppy and then said why not do the same for Sandy? Six months later Sandy was run over and required major hip surgery. I now recommend pet insurance to anyone with pets as life changes in an instant, emergency medical care is costly and getting reimbursed is sometimes the only good thing that comes out of tragic situations with your furry loved ones.

I’m thankful for the service
I’m thankful for the service, but highly dissatisfied in the waiting period for reimbursement. 25-35 days after submitting a basic wellness claim is terribly too long for a waiting period. I also still have not received my Amazon gift card for referring a friend. I will not be referring any more friends after this experience. I’m seriously considering cancelling my membership.

Our recent claim was seamless
Our recent claim was seamless, our vet dealt with submitting and we simply paid the balance. It relieved quite a bit of stress during a very stressful time. Our cat recovered, thankfully, and our coverage allowed us to ensure he had the best of care. Thank-you so very much!

Best Pet Insurance Ever!!
we have had Pet Insurance for at least 5 years prior but have only ever needed it for wellness visits with our local vet. Our dog Bruno developed a tumor in his nose, over a yr ago.He has undergone A CT of his head, nose area and Radiation tx to his nose as well. they covered the CT up to $900.00 and the radiation up to $7000.00. we had to pay up front.submit the bills(which I faxed) and received the checks 2-3 weeks later. we can get direct deposit if you choose. Bruno has done well, however his Tumor came back, so we are going through this again. Nationwide has been wonderful to us and we really appreciate everything. highly recommend this..
