Made decisions a lot easierI
I insured my boxer girl, Macy, when my boxer boy, Brody, was terminal with cancer. He was 10 at the time and had had three knee surgeries and several health issues. I checked into insurance as Macy was four years younger and hadn't had many health issues. I also insured my cat, Bentley, who was a few months older than Macy. Bentley was the one who ended up needing the insurance first. He started having liver issues. It turned out he had a thymoma tumor by his heart. With ASPCA insurance I was able to get him surgery to remove the tumor. He was with us for a year and a half longer, but he succumbed to his health issues. They paid for his cremation too. They have also been great with issues with Macy, such as a low grade cancerous leg tumor, dental disease and when she was attacked by our other dogs. Unfortunately we are now putting them to the test again, as she was recently diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy, a doggie form of Lou Gehrig's disease. I would rather not have to use our insurance, but it has made treatment and diagnostic choices a lot easier. I give them a 9 instead of a 10 because at times, the claims can take several weeks to be completed. But so far they have come through for us on the medical needs for both Bentley and now Macy. I recently insured our newest additions, 3 kittens. As per our experience at this point, I highly recommend ASPCA pet insurance.

Healthy Paws is AWESOME!!
Healthy Paws is AWESOME!! We purchased our policy when our Havanese, Derrie was 4 years old. Derrie was diagnosed with a questionable heart condition. We saw a Cardiologist and Derrie had a cardiac work up. It turned out that Derrie didn’t have a heart problem. Healthy Paws was so easy to deal with to make a claim. Just go to the Healthy Paws app on your phone. Take a picture of the bill and submit your claim. We submitted our claim and received our reimbursement check the next week! Our dog Derrie is now 6 years old. He had been sick for about a year with gastrointestinal issues. We took Derrie to an Internal Medicine Veterinarian. After several expensive diagnostic procedures, Derrie was diagnosed with Atypical Addison’s Disease. We submitted our claims for reimbursement and received a check with in a week! The coolest thing about Healthy Paws....... They were really concerned about Derrie. They sent me an email inquiring about their concern for my fur baby and wanted to know how he was doing. I am telling all of my friends and family about Healthy Paws!!

Sick Service Dog
My Lucy came down with bacterial and viral ear infections and a bacterial infection on her skin. The vet missed the infections in her ears for months and was too busy on a day she was there for daycare. The vet referred me to a specialist, Dermatologist. I am thankful the vet sent me on but I was a bit concerned about the expense for her. The Dermatologist caught both infections and her skin issue. I need Lucy more than you can imagine. The expense of the Specialist was way over my budget, so thankful to have Nationwide to help me cover a great portion of the expense. The only downside is processing a claim. It is a lot of steps and the direct deposit is cumbersome. I missed the final link on a prior claim to deposit it into my account. The deposit was not processed after I accepted it. It was quite the hassle to get it fixed. Besides that, I would not not have insurance to cover her. Thank you Nationwide. Jennifer Bergman

my dog was recently hospitalized for…
my dog was recently hospitalized for three days and luckily I had healthy paws pet insurance, they handle the claim fast within a few days and they really come through for my wife and I. Our vet bill was 1600 but we had the pet insurance so we got reimbursed for a good portion of that bill. Everything was not covered by healthy paws but every insurance policy has it limitations. Still happy with the outcome. I would recommend healthy paws to friends and family.

Ive been very impressed with the customer service and ease of processing claims. What really impressed me was the follow up email on our Archie after his recent vet visit. The fact you checked in on him meant a lot to us.
