So happy to have preventative care

I have had Embrace Pet Insurance for my Service Dog for the last three years (since I got my Service Dog). I am so happy that I have never had to utilize its services for anything more series than a skin infection. I utilize the well patient benefits of keepy Wyatt up on his shots and monthly flea and heartworm preventatives. I am so glad that if something major arrises that I will have the benefits available to help.

Missy

Everything was great except we continued to be charged the deductible each visit. Vet had to write two letters to indicate all visits were for the same condition. Perhaps the form could be altered so the vet can indicate same incident.

Overpriced Pet Insurance

Pets Best is an over priced insurance company that works on a corporate level and has people in customer service who are trained in sales, but not humanity.By having unaffordable pet insurance rates, people cancel policies and animals do not get the care they need. Very dissapointing!!!!!!

I would recommend Embrace.

My dog was diagnosed with Lymphoma(Cancer of the lymph nodes.) She has had many claims and will probably need more treatments in the future. If I did not have Embrace she may of not been able to get the treatment she needed, due to the expense. The staff was kind and sent emails on a regular basis to let me know what was happening. I am thankful to have them. The only thing I did not understand is why it takes the claims close to a month to go thru. Regaurdless,I am happy with the insurance.

These guys are legit

I am so glad my vet convinced me to get vet insurance through Trupanion when Morrison, my Golden Retriever, was a puppy. (He is now 3 1/2.) It was the best advice I received. I admit I was skeptical when the vet brought it up. I said to the Vet, yes but will there be a loophole every time and will they say this isn't covered and that isn't covered? My vet said, "No, these guys are legit." Some people at the dog park say to me, "I just put money in a jar for emergency vet funds." But I know that wouldn't work because what about car emergencies and Christmas and the furnace needing replacing? etc. I feel really comforted knowing there is provision JUST for Morrison's needs. It can't be allocated to anything else. It is just Morrison's. I never want Morrison's health to come second to whether I can afford it or not.

Healthy Paws is the real deal!

We decided in August 2012 (after a great deal of research) to go with Healthy Paws pet insurance for our two young mixed breed rescue dogs. Zoe (11 lbs.) is a yorkshire terrier mix and Mara (18 lbs.) is a mix of Chinese Crested and Boglen terrier. They are both very healthy dogs, but we wanted protection and peace of mind against unforseen injury or illness. Unfortunately, Zoe became ill October 17th, with vomiting and diarrhea. We took her to the vet that morning and a blood test revealed she had HGE (hemorrhagic gastroenteritis) and was dehydrated. She had to stay in the hospital for three days, with an IV and supportive treatment. Antibiotics, anti-nausea drugs, the works. She made a full recovery, but the cost of those three days came to $924.40, not something we can afford at one time. We paid the bill and I submitted the claim form, invoices and Zoe's records from the vet via e-mail to Healthy Paws. I e-mailed that info to them at 4:24 PM on 10/30/12 and I received a response that the claim was being processed at 9:56 AM the next morning. Wow! The Explanation of Benefits (EOB) attached to that e-mail was so clear and concise I could see exactly what was covered minus our deductible and what the amount of the check would be that we would receive in the mail. They covered everything exactly as they were supposed to, I wish MY healthcare company had it together enough to provide such a clear EOB. Even the wording of their e-mails were warm and personal, you get the feeling

Finally, "Honest Insurance" is not an Oxy-Moron!

I never write reviews, but with Embrace, I had to. I have had Embrace pet insurance for over 4 years now and while the premium is a little higher than what I started with, it has been well worth it. Everytime there is a claim, the claim specialist (aka embracer!) makes sure to let me know they received the claim, sends an update if things are delayed and usually claims are paid out as promised with no hidden language in 3-4 weeks. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES WITH CLAIMS NOT BEING PAID. One of the honest insurance companies I have come across (comparing human and pet insurances) in my life and its very refreshing! Keep up the good work Embrace!
