So Happy I had Trupanion!

My 10 Mo. old Maine Coon decided to swallow one of my elastic hair ties he found under the bed. Totally my fault, but an accident all the same. We were informed that the surgery would cost around $2500. Thank goodness I had Trupanion who ended up reimbursing me 90% after my $500 deductible was met. I ended up paying about $1100 out of pocket and was reimbursed $1400 (maybe a little more). The monthly payment for Trupanion is only $20/mo. Doing the math, it would take me about 6 years to pay $1400 to Trupanion at the $20/mo. rate. I've already made my money back with them and I couldn't be happier. Thank you, Trupanion!!!

MY BEST FRIEND TORE HIS ACL

About one month ago, we were told that our 6 year old Lab tore his ACL and surgery would be required. The cost was $4,000 and Embrace covered 80% just as they had promised. The claim was received and entered and we were notified. The check was cuta and we were notified with the specifics of the payment. I am very very impressed with Embrace and wish them continued success. Thank you to the Embrace team!

Speedy processing, friendly service

Our Boston Terrier puppy got sick a few weeks after we enrolled and the staff at Healthy Paws made filing our first claim an easy and reassuring experience. Not only was our puppy's care covered just as expected, without any sneaky stuff, but the communication we got during the process and after the claim was processed was thorough, easy to understand, and downright friendly. Our claim was processed within a couple days, and the whole experience couldn't have gone better... well, maybe if the puppy hadn't gotten sick in the first place :) I never expected to be extolling the virtues of an insurance company, but as long as HP continues to provide this kind of service to me, I will continue to recommend them to friends and family.

Pleasure to work with re: our puppy

Our beagle/shar-pei mix puppy Herman had to have an entropion corrected (essentially an eye lift!) and had some unanticipated intestinal blockage before the surgery. Embrace covered 90% of both the planned and unplanned portions and checked in with us about how Herman was recovering. They even found an error in one of our claims a month later and sent us the difference. Needless to say, my experience with them has been very positive. Herman is doing just great, btw!

Fast and responsive!

My puppy was able to get the medical care she needed for her UTI because I had Healthy Paws pet insurance. They are very fast with their claims reimbursements and they keep me informed by email when they are processing the claim and then an explanation of benefits once it is completed. It is super easy, convenient and takes the uncertainty out of the process. Their customer service is excellent.

We heart Healthy Paws!

We are absolutely thrilled with the service we receive from Healthy Paws! Our little beagle has been quite a handful, especially this past month where we've had 2 emergency visits and several follow up vet visits. We submitted our claims to Healthy Paws and received confirmation of processing and completion within a day of submitting! And the check followed shortly afterwards. We then received a follow up inquiry from the Customer Care & Claims Manager just to follow up and make sure our puppy recovered from her tummy issues! Best care all around and we're so happy we had Healthy Paws to help us through it all.

Stress-Free Resolution

Our six-year-old cat, Mingus, was experiencing diarrhea, so we took him to the vet. It seemed to come on shortly after we went on holiday, so we presumed he was experiencing stress-induced enteritis. The vet concurred and subscribed an antibiotic based on a stool sample. We submitted that claim to Trupanion and they resolved it fairly quickly. Unfortunately, after about six weeks of a very slow recovery, things took a turn for the worse and Mingus stopped eating. We took him in to the vet again and, after keeping him overnight for further assessment, our regular vet felt there were liver issues that needed to be assessed by a specialist. And, again unfortunately, the specialist did not have a very optimistic outlook, especially after an MRI and a needle aspiration. That afternoon, I said goodbye to my friend. But, after all that sadness and stress, I submitted the paperwork to Trupanion and, within a week, they processed and paid my claims (covering over $1100 of about $1400). So, although my story is a sad one, Trupanion made the financial side much easier. Thank you, Trupanion.

The Best Coverage hands down

I am a cocker spaniel lover. I had VPI on my 2nd cocker who died at age 4 of Evans Syndrome. The schedule of benefits just doesn't work for me. So now I have Sadie and she's on Pets Best. They are so friendly, pay 80% and if direct deposit usually in your account fast! Would never, ever go with anyone else. I recommend PETS BEST!!
