After an expensive illness with a beloved pet, I decided to try Embrace insurance. My first claims were for wellness exams, and I received my checks quite quickly after the company received my paperwork. The most difficult part was the health history for my older dog, and a lot of that was a delay from my vet's office. I filed my first claim, which was incomplete, but Embrace contacted my vet and got the missing paperwork. I was issued a check within two weeks. I have been very happy with the communication from the company and their response time.

Trupanion does not cover examination fees but they covered the multiple urine tests and antibiotics that she needed. This claim in total was not huge but having the insurance was worth it. Wow, I did a ton of research before choosing Healthy Paws Insurance for my 3 cats. Two kittens and one senior cat. I have been a member now for a few months and have already had several claims processed super fast, no denials and they are super friendly. They truly care about our pets!! Wonderful Insurance company that has given us so much peace of mind!!

My dog, Dayton, has been Embraced for more than a year, and I cannot say enough good things about the ethics and efficiency of the organization. Most recently, we had accumulated claims for problems a vet had treated over a period of about five or six weeks. Embrace acknowledged receipt almost immediately and made decisions as to coverage (all favorable) shortly after that. At my urging, my vet has put out a stack of Embrace brochures, and I have preached the Insurance Gospel According to Dayton's Dad to any dog owner who would listen. We are deeply grateful to, and admiring of, this organization.

Just before Mom died of cancer in 2007, one of her last request was that we take good care of her toy poodle Pippin. We have done our best, and last year, as Pippin was about to turn 13, I decided to buy health insurance to make sure Pip can always have the best care. Many companies would not insure a dog of her age, but Pets Best did. She has since developed glaucoma, & after the $100 deductible, they have covered 80% of the cost of a specialist, an animal ophthalmologist, and 80% of the eye drops, which are expensive. It's obviously an ongoing condition, so it's nice to know PB has my back. The premium did almost double (from $35 to $70/month) after her 14th birthday, but I understand the increased risk at this age.
