Very happy with Healthy Paws
Healthy Paws has covered not one but two (18 months apart) ACL repair surgeries for our Boxer mix, Zoe. As you can imagine these surgeries were very expensive and stressful for Zoe and our family. They have been checking in to see how Zoe is doing and couldn’t be nicer. They have also covered several other medical issues expeditiously and with no questions asked. Highly recommend Healthy Paws.

My experience was great
My experience was great. Adding in my direct deposit info was super easy and I really appreciated receiving an email letting me know the claim was approved as it let me know I should monitor my bank account for a deposit. As a first time claimer, I am super happy with this experience.

2 pets, same health, 2 insurance companies. One Sucks.
I have two cats, one covered with PetsBest and the other with Figo Pet Insurance. Both of them had the same procedure done (same insurance coverage) where they had to clean their teeth and ended up extracting a few teeth each. Figo covered EVERYTHING. PetsBest denied it all. I even pay for the highest coverage where vet visits claim to be covered and prescription meds. They said its not covered. My advice is to READ THE FINE PRINT. Pets Best is incredibly misleading in what they cover and you are made to believe these things are covered until they dig up some far fetched clause that "qualifies" you or doesnt. What a waste of money. Immoral. This company is a scam. I have cancelled their insurance and am moving my cat over to Figo Pet insurance

The best pet insurance. I have two large Goldendoodles, i signed them up on Healthy Paws as puppies. Recently Dexter got very sick, and needed emergency care. He spent three nights in house. It was quickly confirmed that he would not be able to get well without 24/7 medical care, in fact it was life threatening condition. Having Healthy Paws Pet Insurance, certainly did take away the concern of having a huge vet bill. Healthy Paws also checked up severely times as too how Dexter was doing. Healthy Paws makes it so easy to submit a claim and process usually within 7 to 10 days. I have Pet Insurance because I can budget a monthly payment and have peace of mind that they will always be able to have medical attention when needed. I recommend Healthy Paw to all my friends.

You didnt correct error you made 10/15 claim
On 10/15/2020 we sent claim fir Maverick and you put down Cyclophosphamide 25mg caps #7 AND Furosemide 50mg tabs #5 as Wellness when clearly these relate to Mavericks Lymphoma diagnosis and are part of. Cancer protocol. They should be in Illness category. I called you and emailed you an you ignored both. Correct asap.

Best insurance provider ever!
I did tons of research on pet insurance before choosing Healthy Paws, and I don't regret it one bit. My doggy got sick and I had to take him to the ER. Luckily he is better and I didn't have to even worry about costs, just his well-being. I submitted a claim after he was discharged and they processed it in a matter of 2 days!! On top of that, they reached out personally to check on how my dog was doing. They have amazing customer service and you can see they care about their customers. So as you can see, my experience with them has been amazing and they have exceeded all expectations.

Unbeknownst to us, our English bulldog puppy, Bow, came to us with a wide variety of maladies, probably due to poor breeding practices. A friend suggested that I get pet insurance because veterinary care has become expensive. She suggested the one she used, but I investigated a number of companies and chose Healthy Paws. Bow has had multiple eye surgeries, multiple leg surgeries and she has now developed some sort of liver ailments. Over a 5 year period, they have reimbursed me thousands of dollars. You may choose different levels of reimbursement - I chose 70%. They made it easy to file a claim by simply posting a picture of the bill via a cell telephone app. I have always fronted the bill and the reimbursement has never been more than 2 weeks and most often it's less than a week. Many of the companies I investigated would have dropped Bow's coverage because they have upper limits of coverage. I have always received my reimbursement promptly and with no questions from the company. I've been able to keep Bow because of this insurance. I can't thank them enough. They literally saved Bow's life.
