Exceeded my Expectations
I have been very satisfied with the customer service, friendliness, and the ease of claims. The only feedback I had was that the insurance took a few weeks to start. I had gotten a new pup that I wanted to take to the vet to get checked up (as most people would). It was not feasible for me to wait a few weeks until the insurance kicked in. I knew I would have to pay anyway since there was a $250 deductible, but I was not happy about this not being applied. If anything I would think the risk for the insurer is higher for me to wait and not get the checkup. Would have liked some flexibility there.

My dog had a bowel obstruction and…
My dog had a bowel obstruction and required surgery. Overall the bills were a little over $10,000 with 2 ER visits, a regular vet appointment and the surgery. With insurance I ended up paying a bit over $1,000 which was doable compared to the actual bill. It is very convenient to file claims and the claims get processed very fast. This all makes it so you can focus on caring for your pet. Thank you healthy paws.

I’m so graduate to Healthy Paws for the quick and easy turnaround on my first claim. My cat had a serious and very expensive hospitalization. He’s only home one week and I’ve already received payment on my claim. They also sent a very personal email asking about how he is doing. They really are doing things right
