I submitted a claim over a month ago…
I submitted a claim over a month ago and it still says "processing". I called them and someone was supposed to call me back by the end of the day, but no one did. This was a few days ago. I'm not sure if this company can give me the coverage I need.

Initially, our claim was denied, but upon calling and speaking to a very sweet rep, they overturned the decision and paid the claim. I've been extremely pleased with the service and true commitment to the wellness of my pet.

Human Insurance companies could learn from these folks!
My experience with Trupanion has been remarkable. They have paid all claims quickly and their staff have been both professional and kind. This was an incredibly difficult illness to deal with and we could not have kept our boy Owen alive without this coverage. His quality of life is now back to normal. As an RN I have a good understanding of insurance plans. I just wish that I could enroll myself on this plan! I have become one of your biggest supporters! Thank you for a great product and helping me to keep my boy alive and healthy!

Don't waste your money
Waste of money. Submitted claim for well pet visit over a month ago. Haven't even received any acknowledgement of the claim being received. Called twice and was told things were slow due to covid. Policy states claims are processed in 3 to 5 business days. I can understand things are slow, but a month later? Certainty arent slow in charging my credit card every month for the premium. I will be looking for a new insurer.

The 1-800 Numbe for another INsurance comapny who has no clue what I am talking about.
REceived in the Mail a Claim Notice advising that they were missing information for our submission, WE just signed up for the policy and have not made any claims Called number provided 1-800-364-8422 and got a completely different insurance provider Been on old over 40 Mins trying to solve this proble, I do not even know where who my insurance is with As an Insurance broker who used to sell these policies I will hear by no longer recommend this service to my clients as this is extremely terrible customer service, Knowledgable Advocates My Ass!!

I have to say i'm very pleased with how Trupanion doesn't question any items submitted. They read the vet's recommendations and what procedures need to be done and i've not had any issues. They are professional and courteous and provide updates along the way through the process which i appreciate. I appreciate them expeditiously reviewing and approving my requests. Thanks very much!!!

Healthy Paws was quick in responding, made process easy and paid claim with no hassles.
Luna needed emergency surgery for blockage in her intestines on Christmas Eve. We submitted the vet invoice after the surgery and getting her home and Healthy Paws was right on it. We received updated email informing us about the status of the claim and when to expect a result. They responded when they said they would and covered the claim in full subject to our deductible and appropriate deductions (we have an 80% policy). I never had pet insurance before and didn’t know what to expect but this experience could not have been more professional, caring and complete. Luna is doing great now and back to her old self!

Breath of fresh air
What a wonderful experience! And this is with an insurance company! I work as an advocate for pediatric families and try to help them navigate their insurance companies so I was skeptical about my reimbursement claims. However, Healthypaws made the entire experience extremely easy. I almost couldn't believe it. And on top of that they reached out to see how Snickers was feeling after his emergency anesthesia and endoscopy. How kind is that? Again from an insurance company! Not surprisingly I was responsible for 80% minus my deductible and office visit. After an almost $4500 vet bill it was a godsend to get some help. We knew puppies would be expensive but we are happy for the extra help during this challenging time. Thank you Healthy Paws!
