So far, so great!

As with people insurance, we hope we never have to use our Embrace benefits, but we sure are glad we have them!We are just a little over the 6 month mark in our first year with Embrace. In that time we've had two wellness claims and one illness claim. The wellness claims were processed very quickly by a couple of the most friendly people I've had the pleasure to be in contact with. We are still waiting for information about the illness claim, but I understand that these types of claims would be a little more involved. So far, I've been very pleased with all aspects of Embrace pet insurance.

Absolutely wonderful company!!

I have a male Boerboel who has had alot of problems. I did not even know that there was pet insurance until he tore his ACL completely in half and of course not having insurance at the time I had to pay for this out of pocket ended up over $3,000. The vet is the one who told about pet insurance and I checked into it immediately and found Pets Best to be the best plan for me so I immediately had Chopper signed up. Chopper has since had several surgeries to remove skin tags, he developed cancer in one of his toes last year and had to have it amputated. I submitted the claims to Pets Best and within a little over a week I had the check for reimbursement. This company is wonderful and I don't know how I ever went without pet insurance. It definately puts my mind to ease knowing if something goes wrong that my baby is insured. I have recommended Pets Best to all of my friends with animals, and told my vet about my experiences and he now also recommends it to other clients.

Caring, warm, involved staff!

I wish that my own health insurance personnel were as caring as the Embrace staff. They kept up communication with me throughout the whole process and repeatedly reminded me to call if i had any concerns or questions. When i called, i was connected to someone who immediately knew who i was without needing to know my policy number, name, social security number, date of birth, mother's maiden name, grandfather's nickname, shoe size, favorite color, etc., as does my own health insurance. She even asked how my little missy was. How's that for amazing? Real people really caring. I say, G-D bless them with the same kindness they ALL show to us! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

They REALLY care!!!!

Amazing customer service. Our dog, Princess, had a cancerous tumor on her paw that needed to be removed. She had surgery that ran us about $900. She is a mature dog and had pre-existing medical challanges. Our vet forgot to file the correct paperwork and our claim became very complicated. Healthy Paws was in constant communication and kept us updated every step of the way. Any question I asked by email, I received a response within 24 hours. They were so kind and compassionate when helping us thru this time. When they notified us by email of the final result of our claim, our refund check was in our mailbox the very next day. They showed showed us such kindness and we appreciate them soooooo much!

Extremely pleased

I have a two year old Norwich Terrier and although I've had other dogs, this is the first time I've had pet insurance. I did a lot of research on this site and other places and decided that Trupanion seemed to be the best option for me and my dog. I joined the plan when my dog was about six months old. We have just had our first major health issue and my first claim with Trupanion. My dog had a Sunday visit to an emergency clinic followed by treatment at my regular vet, including surgery for bladder stones. Filing the claim was easy and my vet had experience with Trupanion and assured me that their clients had had good response from the company. I received prompt, clear and frequent communication by email from Trupanion and after my claim was reviewed was told that everything would be covered according to my plan and that I'd receive a check shortly -- which I did within several days. Trupanion paid 90% of all of the charges at both the emergency clinic and my vet, aside from the basic exam fees and my $100 deductible. It was exactly as promised, with no hassles and terrific customer service. I could not be more pleased and impressed with Trupanion. I am a believer in pet insurance and encourage everyone to carefully consider getting coverage. it is not meant for the usual small things that come up -- the $100 to $300 typical wellness or minor illness visits. But when you are faced with $2,500 or more for surgery, tests and so forth, it is very comforting

Number one pet insurance company!!

I have never been more pleased with a pet insurance company than I am with Pets Best. I previously had experience with VIP and they were not as efficient and their "fee schedule" was not reasonable. The claims I received from Pets Best have always been what they advertised...they pay 80%. I have referred many friends and family members to Pets Best with 100% confidence that they will be happy and feel secure. We had a lot of turmoil with three of our pets this summer. One died of lymphoma and the other two had life threatening incidences. We felt reassured that we could give our pets the best treatment options since we had this insurance. Without it, we would have had $10,000 worth of vet bills that we could not have afford. I do not know what I would have done if I didn't have this insurance. I have more treatment options available for my pets. In addition, anytime I called to get the status of a claim or get information, their staff is always courteous and helpful. They send correspondence quickly via email as well. I was shocked to read the bad reviews because I have nothing but good things to say about this company. I am so grateful and pleased a company like this exists. Thank you so much Pets Best!!

We are extremely impressed with Embrace

Can't say enough good things about Embrace!

Our rottie was diagnosed with severe hip dyslasia before his first birthday earlier this year. He had his first surgery in May and the second one just last week. Both times, working with Embrace Pet Insurance has been such a smooth and easy process. Embrace and the fantastic people who work there, made everything simple not only for us, but our vet's office as well. I really cannot say enough good things about them and am grateful that of all of the insurance companies out there, we chose Embrace.

Great policies and easy claims

I just had my first experience with submitting a claim to Embrace; It was very painless and smooth.The claim form is as simple as it can be; They kept in touch throughout the process and kept me informed of what was going on (and were very nice); When they processed the claim, I got an email detailing exactly what they will reimburse and why, so I knew even before I got the check in the mail.

May as well not have insurance.

I have two Shih Tuz's and one had to have metal plates in his front legs and they claimed it was a hereditary condition age 1 1/2 and then the other one had a scratch on her eye which got infected and almost lost her eye and ASPCA called that hereditary age 1 1/2 so there was never any payments made even for the hospitalization that was required because they said it was boarding costs. I would definitely not buy this insurance and I have canceled after one year with $0 money ever reimbersed.
