My retired Guide Dog has had Trupanion for almost 9 years.
My retired Guide Dog has had Trupanion for almost 9 years. Rates were reasonable and service was good. Last year you raised my rate to over $100 which I could not afford (retired teacher). So I agreed to a $500 deductible to get the payment down to under $100. Recently my rate went up to almost $125.00 and I couldn't believe it! My dog is healthy, etc. I called and your representative gave me the run around. She talked in circles - her standard schtick and I am so disappointed with Trupanion! Especially since we have been great customers for so long!

Denied claim
My last claim was denied because apparently our dog had previously injured his leg in some way. We have no knowledge of this injury or how it happened but he injured his leg this time jumping from the car and landing awkwardly. I do not envision it as some pre-existing condition as there was no problem before he jumped from the car. I disagree with the decision not to cover the claim.
