After contacting Trupanion, I had the claim and it was processed within 2 days. So far, I am very pleased with them and hope I don't need them so much in the future :)

I've had pets all my life but never had insurance on them before. Embrace has been wonderful. The vet turns in the claim for me and within a day I get a email from embrace saying they received it. Then usually within 10 or so days I receive a check in the mail. And then embrace sends a follow up email to make sure you received your check and if you have any questions on the refund. Fantastic service! Thanks Embrace. Emma is almost back to being herself again.

When our Shepherd Chief had his first attack of epilepsy we were devastated. At the time we did not realize the benefits our Embrace policy held. Having insurance helped us and him to lead a somewhat normal life with medication.

Be sure to list a bank account to send money directly, I didn't do this and waited at least three weeks longer than necessary to receive my reimbursement. Apparently, my check was sent and then returned to Embrace for unknown reasons and they had to cut me another check after I called asking where my check was. I received the second check for $2809.00 two days later. When it's that much money, it matters. The ability to check on claims online is convenient and the customer service representatives are very friendly and helpful. I would have rated a 10 but had to wait for the big check and the first person I spoke with didn't follow up with me. This is my first experience with pet insurance, although I've had Embrace Insurance for five years for my dog. I've heard very few other companies actually pay much if anything.

Trupanion reviewed my dogs claim for a specific disease and approved payment after a veterinarian review. I am thankful for their consideration and final approval. This is exactly why I insure all 3 of my pets, 2 dogs and one cat with Trupanion- in case of any unforeseen catastrophic illnesses or accidents. They didn't let me down.

We came home from work 6 weeks ago to find our 4-year-old Scottish Terrier unable to put any weight on his back left leg. Following an immediate visit to the vet, he had completely ruptured his ACL and required surgery to repair it. He had the surgery 3 days later and I faxed my pre-certification and claim forms to Embrace. I received an initial email following receipt of the claim that indicated it would take 5-10 business days to review and pay the claim. Unfortunately for me, Embrace had just instituted a new computer system and it took a lot of follow up on my part and the final claim payout took about 30 days. I am hopeful to have a smoother experience. Overall, Embrace does have good customer service once I was able to reach them.

I am so thankful to have had Healthy Paws pet insurance for our young Golden Retriever, who at 11 months was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia and required surgery. Healthy Paws paid our claim for the elbow surgery without any problems. I do not know how we would have been able to afford the over $6000 surgery without Healthy Paws insurance. Not only did they cover this condition (which most companies will not, because some consider it a genetic condition), but they make the claims process incredibly easy. Bear was diagnosed with pancreatitis and extreme intestinal inflammation. Needless to say we were extremely concerned. He had to be hospitalized for 4 days and during that time the vet performed treatments to flush his stomach, intestines and colon. His very serious condition was treated and all went well. Bear is back to his bouncy happy self! Again Healthy Paws helped to ease our hearts and bring peace of mind during a traumatic and stressful experience.
