Sydney says Thx
Never figured I would have health problems with my champion bread Russian Blue, but decided to after a friend had several larger vet bills with their dog. So gald I did, at 5 years old Syd got sick and the vet bills grew really quick.

peace of mind
not expensive and prompt claim response. I have 5 cats, so the cost is worth it to me. After surgery for removal of a tumor, received 80% of the cost in 2 weeks.

first pet owner, love this insurance
I adopted my first pet on Feb 2,2011, an adorable mix of dachshund and jack russell . She has had 5 accidents since i took her home ranging from pulling out her nail to eating 30 advills.....needless to say all were emergency care, and very costly,. I submitted the claims and the claim was settled with in there stated time of 10 days. I wish my personal insurance were as good as this.

Great experience
My maltese has been covered with PetsBest since he was about 2. I decided to look for insurance after he was attacked by a German Shepard and I had to foot the bill! It was over $2000! Im almost done paying this bill and decided after that incident to never, ever go without pet insurance! The monthly cost is minimal, compared to what I spent on his injuries. Ive used them 3 times, one claim wasnt covered because it was considered preventative (he had contracted ghardia(sp?)), and then 2 more times because he had gastroenteritis. Those claims were paid for. It did take a little time to get my reimbursement check but no more then what they state about 10-14 days.I found the claim forms easy to complete and simple to understand. I did everything via email, and fax. Overall, Im satisfied with them and would recommend them.

Major disapointment
There's a lot of confusion about how to submit forms, certificates and change the deductible. They draw you in very well at first then give you hard time about getting coverage. I've spoken to lovely people thee and very curt and snotty people as well. I'm looking into changing to a higher rated company before my dog turns a year.

Highly Recommend Embrace
Embrace pet insurance is great. No benefit schedule means that you can go to any vet of your choosing and it is covered completed based on the coverage amount you chose when you customized your plan. Their web site is great and all questions were answered there. I did not even need to speak to a person, ever. They respond via email very promptly and professionally. Embrace is a great choice.

THANK YOU Healthy Paws!
My 4 1/2 month old puppy Billy had diahrrea, and I took him to the vet assuming there was a simple cause like intestinal worms. When the fecal test came back negative, the vet did an X-ray and saw that he had eaten a sewing needle. He needed emergency surgery that day. The vet gave me an estimate of $1500 but the total ended up at almost $2800 because of damage to his intestine. I was so scared for Billy to undergo such a major surgery at such a young age. Also, I didn't have the money and had to take out a loan. Healthy Paws paid me back exactly what my plan dictated - 90% of the bill - promptly. And they checked in to make sure he was doing ok. I literally don't know what I would have done without Healthy Paws- and luckily, I don't have to find out!THANK YOU HEALTHY PAWS!

Are you kidding?
I've had Embrace insurance for my dog for less than a year and have been pleased thus far. Recently I was told a skin blemish on the dog's rear end could not be covered because he had an ear infection on his first appointment! Seriously, that's stretching it don't you think? I am disapointed to say the least. Also, you list ear problem and skin porblem seperately below. Obviously you do know they are two different things.

Very pleased
I have been very pleased with the plan. The last claim was just a small urinalysis but they all add up over time. I am so glad I have a good insurance plan for my cat. My only complaint is that processing seems to be taking a bit longer recently compared to one year ago. The claim submission to receipt of a check was appx. 2 weeks for the last claim. Which is still good. But it was only 8~9 days a year ago. I would have given 10 with the processing speed of 1 year ago.

Great Job Embrace!
My 1.5 year old Leonberger, Zoe, had a slight, but persistent limp for a number of months. I had her examined by both my regular vet, and a holistic vet, and they could not find anything wrong. Both vets recommended seeing an orthopedic specialist, who did a thorough exam and Xrays. He determined the problem was in her shoulder (fortunately not OCD - Osteochondritis disicans, but most likely a small tear in her shoulder capsule). He recommended a month of laser and physical therapy (underwater treadmill), 2x a week (along with reduced play time with other dogs). This helped solve the problem...limp seems to be gone. Embrace covered all the above treatments!
2012 is my second year with Embrace. My experience with Embrace in 2011 was so good (coverage, customer service, claims, reimbursements) that I enthusiastically renewed for 2012. This year I decided to also sign up for the wellness rewards, as it is a great deal financially, and incentive to keep up on wellness practices for my dog. Great job Embrace! I highly recommend Embrace.
