Toby my Great Dane

I will begin with the coupon. I was given a coupon for buy one night get 2 free boarding nights at Pet Smart. My family and I were going on a 4 night vacation out of state and decided to cash in on the 2 free nights. This particular Pet Smart had a doggy day camp available so to reduce Toby's (my Great Dane) anxiety I was going to have him play the day I dropped him off and the last day when we were to pick him up. I dropped Toby off as planned and we were off on our vacation, 30 minutes before my flight was to take off I receive a call from Pet Smart saying Toby has thrown up 3 times and it was their policy to have a vet look at him. While the flight attendent is asking me to turn off my phone I'm speaking with the on call vet telling them to call my vet and listen to what ever they tell you. I had to turn the phone off or proboby be thrown off the plane. We land 3 hours later and I have a message they have driven Toby over to my vet and my vet (who owns great danes herself) was suspicious enough of Toby's situation she had to have X-rays taken. There was a small blockage which medication was able to take care of and fortunatly my wife's parents and brother could watch Toby the remainder of our vacation. I started out thinking 2 free nights with doggy day camp we were only going to spend $85 for 4 nights sounds great! It ended up being $15 for time spent at Pet Smart and their vet, and $754.35 in care from my vet. Trupanion covered $678.92 and I only spen

Very pleased with Embrace.

This is my first experience with pet insurance. My previous dog had high vet bills so I decided to give insurance a try with my Golden Retriever who is now 13 months old. He fractured his toe and the bills were over $1,000. I am very pleased with the processing of claims, communication from Embrace and the amount of money I have received.

Always reliable, always there!

Izzie, our 2 y/o Whoodle (Wheaten Terrier/Standard Poodle mix)is a bundle of energy, afflicted with multiple medical challenges, since she joined our family when 10 weeks old.A few days after she came home for the first time, we shopped online for a good medical insurance plan for her. The ASPCA plan fit our needs exactly. It would protect Izzie very well, particularly in case of any serious illness or accident, while also "protecting" our family budget. We are school teachers and need to be financially mindful. Well, as it turned out, for the first year or so of Izzie's life, she suffered just about every imaginable illness. She had skin diseases, gastro-intestinal things, dislocated ACL (twice), compromised stool samples (as puppy, Izzie had a knack for getting into, and eating, everything she could find, that was guaranteed to give her the runs. After she turned a year old or so, although most of her puppy year's challenges were overcome, she then began to suffer a pernicious skin infection that culminated in successful consultations with a dermatology veterinarian. We tell all this, because our intial decision to select the ASPCA insurance plan for Izzie was Heaven-sent. The plan's management never, never, questioned treatment options or costs by Izzie's veterinarians...always processing dutifully and on time! We've chosen to contribute to ASPCA initiatives as we can afford to do so, particularly since the ASPCA has been very generous in their coverage of Izzie's medic

Great Efficient Service

I have always had flawless service with Trupanion. My only complaint is that I wish pet care providers were willing to accept payment directly from Trupanion. The reimbursement format is sometime quite a hinderance to medical assistant for my pet since I am currently a full-time post-graduate student.

Illness coverage

I was not sure about Trupanion at first due to their policy of not covering non-routine exams. I cancelled my policy and went with a competitor but after a month of awful service went back to Trupanion. Shortly after returning my dog became ill with a liver problem. I submitted numerous claims over a few weeks and Trupanion responded with quick claim payments that really helped in the treatment and care for our cherished member of our family. I am quite pleased and impressed so far with Trupanion. Thank you for being there for us during this stressful time!

Life Saver!

Our 5 year old St. Bernard, Dozer has had a hard time. Hip replacement, implant removed, failed FHO, amputation - on and on. After our other St. Maggie died unexpectedly of liver failure I decided I had to get insurance for Dozer. After a great deal of research and personal recommendations I settled on Embrace - best decision I could have made! Shortly after his coverage started he began to limp and we were shocked to discover that he had a lesion on his front leg - bone cancer. Megan, et al have been incredible to work with throughout the process whether it was filing claims or pre-approval for his treatment at CSU. Their communication is top notch and they have always been there whenever / whatever we needed. Now as we embark to the chemo stage of his treatment it is a huge source of comfort both financially and emotionally to know that Embrace is in our corner! Thank you all!!!

From someone in insurance: BEST service ever

As a loyal Embrace customer (and Allstate Insurance agent), I always mention the amazing service we received from our Claims Embracer, Sam Adkins, when our little baby Kobe had to undergo surgery to remove one of his kidneys last month. We had our money deposited (over $6,300) directly into our bank account less than a week after the claims were received by Sam (about 2 weeks after we submitted them). Although the claims were initially misplaced, we got our reimbursements within days once Sam got on it. What a lifesaver it is to know that we have Sam and everyone at Embrace looking out for our financial wellbeing, especially when facing the most stressful of times caused by our beloved pet's illness and surgery. We have since posted our experiences with Embrace on Facebook for all our friends to see (I have over 1400 of them) and always remember to mention how amazing Embrace is to our vet, Dr. Rowan, at the Rutherford Veterinary Hospital in Dallas, TX. She is quite impressed with the service as well and wishes that her own pet insurance company was as diligent as Embrace. Awesome and More!

Our 6 month old Great Dane puppy decided he wanted to jump over our fence and after doing so had a significant limp. The total bill for his broken toe: almost $1000.00.
