Very impressed

Submitted my first claim recently and I am very impressed with the promptness in return and the personal attention. I also received a follow-up email to see how my dog is recovering after his surgery. I also like the fact that I get an email when my claim has been processed, which includes a link to view my claim.

WORST PET INSURANCE!!

This is the worst pet insurance I have ever had. I had Purina Care Pet Insurance which was GREAT until 24 Hour Pet Watch bought them out. Everything about 24 Hour Pet Watch Insurance is bad. Let's start with the 45 minute to 1 hour wait time to speak to a representative. On one of my first customer service calls to the insurance I opted to use their call back option so I wouldn't have to wait on hold after 3 hours of waiting to hear back I realized I was not going to get a call back so I had to call again and wait another 45 minutes to speak to a representative. After my old pet insurance company was purchased they changed my dog's policy to what is comparable to what I had at Purina. My Purina policy was an annual deductible of $100 per year with an 80/20 coverage. 24 Hour Pet Watch's comparable policy is $100 per incident deductible with an 80/30 coverage and a $10,000 lifetime maximum which is horrible. With this coverage there is no purpose to have pet insurance. I might as well be throwing my money in the trash. I was reimbursed $30 for a vet bill of $246 that's 15% of my bill. My monthly premium of $58 a month is more than what I was reimbursed for the vet visit. My advice to pet owners shopping for pet insurance DO NOT BUY INSURANCE FROM 24 HOUR PET WATCH!!

Amazing A++

I love this place. People are so friendly and the customer service is excellent. The claims process is fast. They always follow up to see how your pet is doing. They actually care. I would insure every pet from this point forward and only with this company. Without their help I don't know that my puppy would be here because I could not afford the $2500 surgery when my pup got sick. So I will always be thankful to Healthy Paws. Thanks again.

Watch out for additional exclusions to policies

My husband and I have been with you all for 3.5 years, and when we first began, we understood that any cruciate ligament issues were NOT covered within 12 months. Once we'd renewed a policy after 12 months, any issues with ACL/CCL would be covered. That was the deal... Well, our dog Deebo just injured his back leg and is facing surgery this week, I just reviewed the policy out of curiosity to make sure he'd be covered because I assumed the exclusion would be the same as it always was, especially since we've always RENEWED our policy. Come to find out, you all pulled the rug out from under us, and omitted the language that would allow us to have the security we were expecting. How is that a good business practice? Renewing a policy, to any normal customer should mean, renewing the exact terms and conditions from the original contract. I've already called your customer service and basically was told, "well, sorry, you should have read your exclusions when you renewed" WHAT? If you want to make this right, you should make good on the original terms and conditions. Put yourself in the shoes of your customer, how would you feel if this had happened to you?? Exactly, slap-to-the-face.

Fantastic! Thank you Healthy Paws!

They were so supportive, quick turnaround with the claim, and they covered most of our pups procedure. They were so nice troughout the process...even asking how Leigha was doing.

ASPCA experience

Overall we are very happy with ASPCA pet insurance, although the premium does tend to go up year on year (what doesn't?) we have still found it to be beneficial and worthwhile, especially in cases of emergency. It gives us peace of mind to know that if something were to happen to our beloved French Bulldog that we can take her straight to the vets without worrying about cost. There is an annual deductible but after that costs are covered. The claim process is easy and efficient and we are always reimbursed in a timely fashion.

Fast response

Our little dog got a mass above her left toe and had to have surgery to remove it. They were great in getting the reimbrustment as fast and as they did and it was paid just as they stated 90% of total bill. The other pet insurance I had did not pay anywhere near, its great to know that they pay like they said without a lot of questions, and were nice enough to email a few days later to see how she was doing. That's what I call great service

Review of claim

Trupanion did an excellent job of keeping me informed of the status of my claim. They were quick to respond and provided a detailed explanation of what was covered. In times like this, I am grateful to have good customer service.

First Claim Submission

We joined Embrace back in July and have had nothing but superb results with them. Unfortunately our dog had to have 2 teeth pulled and within 10 days we had the claim paid. Also took care of her yearly shots. So far all is great and we can only imagine in continuing this way

Excellent Pet Insurance Company

Always processes claims in timely fashion with no argument. I have had health insurance on my horses where getting a claim reimbursed was very difficult. I wish Embrace had health insurance for horses! I just had my daughter sign up her Cocker Spaniel puppy. I have a Lab, a Cocker Spaniel, and a Tabby cat insured by Embrace.
