Pet's Best
So glad we decided to pick up insurance for our two JRTs. Pet's Best has been in our family for two months and I already had to make a claim. They took a little longer than their expected time frame but did notify/apologize in an email. Great customer service.

Very slow with the large payment
I filed my claim for a surgery on 8/21/2015 for a surgery from 8/17/15. It is now 9/9/2015 and the claim has not been paid yet. I keep getting excuses. I filed two more continuing follow up claims for the same surgery and they have been paid. These were filed on 8/31 & 9/8. The claim I need the money on was for $1700. The other 2 were for a total of $325. Not happy. I use to refer people here. I was very happy with the service and payment punctuality. I am no longer happy. My rates went way up and payment is taking a very long time for the large ones that matter. Maybe after I get the reimbursement for the first bill I will change my mind.

Overall pleasant experience
Embrace has worked out great for Finn and I. He has recently had to have a lot of work done but embrace has covered it all with no real questions asked.

Best decision I've ever made for a pet
Get coverage. I tell everyone. And if you don't have a claim don't cancel. I almost did once and it would have been a horrible decision. My baby boy ended up with epilepsy and has had several emergency stays and slot of medicines covered. There are so many people that probably would have had to give him up because they couldn't afford the care. Thank you Embrace for everything!

Trupanion is very helpful when you call, and they respond very quickly to claims. They have been a life saver for me this last month, as my dog has required many medical needs and Trupanion has been understanding and fabulous and fair!

This goes to 11
My Tibetan Terrier ate a corn cob! ASPCA took care of 80% as promised with out flinching! Asked to rate 1 to 10 I'd give it 11.

Fantastic Service!!
My dog ate part of a toy chew rope, It was lodged in his intestines. He was very sick, x-rays could not see it. He become so sick they had to do exporitory surgery to find the rope. I received a call from the vet that not only had they found the rope his intestines had burst. He had a very slim chance of making it though the surgery and then the recovery of the poison in his system. Plus it would be costly for the recovery and surgery. The question was do you want to put in down! No, was the answer right away, do what every you can to save him. I got on the phone with the Trupanion and made sure all was covered and the folks on the phone was so nice and understanding as to the stress I had on me that day. They covered everything except my deductible and 10%. I had to pay up front to all the vets and ER but I received checks from Trupanion in a weeks time. I could not have asked for better service than that! FYI my dog is doing great and made a full recovery.

Thank you!
My dog became uncharacteristically lethargic and wasn't himself so I took him in and they found he had a potential issue with his potassium level which could be a sign of something worse.
You guys paid for all of his tests, ultrasound, blood, urine, whatever it took to get to the bottom of his problem. Thank goodness he is fine and thank you for taking care of this end of it.
