Massive Increases- Save Yourselves
It seems obvious that they knew of the substantial increases when you got me to sign up for this but said the increases were only anticipated to be moderate. That would be fraud. Ive researched that around year 4 their premiums start dramatically increasing based on "findings" across the board. These findings are built into your premiums ahead of time so they are fully known about. Looks to me like they are buying customers up front with cheap premiums to ratchet them when they are already locked into coverage.

Getting to expensive.
After paying $75 a month for insurance (which is getting more difficult to pay, being retired), I was very disappointed that I ended up having to pay most of the vet bill for my cat when I took her in because she was having problems. I reread the policy and the fact that Trupanion does not cover the office visit makes no sense to me. What’s the purpose of having insurance? On the positive side, I was impressed with the expediency of Trupanion’s turnaround time.

Sound and healthy bc
My bc has been very sound and healthy for the first two years of his life . But when he had an unexpected lameness trupanion was right there to help us get it diagnosed. I found that the vet centers were very happy to be working with them as well. I’m glad my breeder recommended them!
