Great experience! Second operation, hassle free

Our little yorkie has had a rough life with a liver shunt surgery and now, a patella luxation. Both surgeries were scary for us but we didn't have to worry about our coverage once! $60 a month for 3 years and we have submitted nearly $6,000. We also like the direct payment with our vets because all we have to do is pay 10% and the tax as trupanion reimburses our vet directly. Thank you so much!!!

Fantastic Company!

I recently found out that my 8 1/2 month old puppies both have severe elbow dysplasia. They both needed major surgery or they wouldn't be able to walk. They both had surgery which totaled $14,000! We sent in the claims and it was approved and checks were mailed within a week. Everyone was so easy to work with and they worked quickly to process the claims as they knew I had incurred very expensive vet bills. I have already recommended them to several friends.

Insurance covered over half of my bill

My 15 month old golden retriever ate a homemade marshmallow Christmas ornament (pins and all). The total bill was about $1,200. and the insurance covered more than half of it. I was happy although wonder why vet physical examinations (2) for this was not covered by policy.. It is hard to diagnose without examining a dog and second vet could not put dog under anaesthesia without a physical exam.

Peace of Mind for Pet Parents

Our brand new mobile vet discovered an abdominal mass in my Romeo kitty during her very first visit. We needed an ultrasound and extracted fluid sent to lab. Knowing we have ASPCA Pet Insurance allowed us to have the necessary tests done without overly straining our wallet during these horrific economic times. Tiffany at ASPCA was wonderful and answered all of my questions graciously and with compassion and competence. Our claim was processed and completed in less than a week! We are very grateful.

Best pet insurance co. in the market

My only experience prior to signing up with Healthy Paws was with VPI who we had with our last puppy and had a horrible experience with when at 12 weeks that puppy got ill and after thousands of dollars in vet bills found out he was terminally ill. During a time when we were emotionally devastated, we we shocked to find out (after a lengthy and difficult claim process) the only portion of the bills VPI would cover was the cost of the puppy's cremation ($138 after the $100 deductible) because he had a congenital disorder and that was one of the fine print items (which there are many) that VPI does not cover. They would not even cover the diagnostic tests to find out this was the issue was. So when we got our next pup, we did a ton of research and signed up with Healthy Paws which was the only company to very clearly (no fine print exceptions) let you know what they will and will not cover and what they do cover is a ton more than any other company I could find (including congenital disorders!). That said, you never know until you have to actually use the policy which as a pet owner, you hope you never need to. Last week that unfortunately happened when our 1.5 year old pup ended up in the hospital with an infection. During a time when we were emotionally distraught not knowing exactly what was wrong and willing to approve whatever costs it took to find out, we signed off on tests and a hospital stay hoping (but wondering based on the past experience with VPI) if Healthy P

Accomodating, friendly, courteous, and fast

Fast turnaround. Direct billing. Great communication. Phone help line staff were exceptionally courteous, helpful, friendly, and accomodating. Reimbursement was sent to me personally by cheque rather than remitting it to the vet but after a quick phone call to rectify the oversight everything proceeded smoothly (Note: I was advised by the vet assistant that there has been an increase in the frequency of this happening lately for some reason but it was fixed the day I received the cheque once I called the Trupanion help line). Would definitely recommend.

All around amazing company!

I have had Healthy Paws for both of my rescues since they were first adopted. The past two years, we have had some scares and emergency room visits. Thankfully, we were able to give them the best care knowing we had Healthy Paws. Before choosing them, we did comprehensive and thorough research on all the companies out there. Healthy paws was the only company that was reasonably priced, offered more than reasonable coverage limits/options and left me simply focused on my pups getting better when crisis struck. Keeping in mind that as a pet owner, it is my responsibility to cover preventative and routine care, I am more than happy and satisfied with Healthy Paws!! Their processing time of claims is prompt as is receipt of payment. I would not recommend any other company!

Super Quick Responses

Our two year old Lab/Retriever mix pup had a large growth on her leg, which the vet thought we should have removed & tested. Embrace was so very quick to process our claim and issue an insurance refund - lightening fast! I cannot say enough about the staff's thoroughness with acknowledging, processing & paying the claim. We are so happy we decided to obtain pet insurance through Embrace. We will continue to do so for the life of our wonderful Marley. Thanks!

Extremely Pleased

When we brought our Yorkie, Bailey, home I wanted to make sure he was in good health and had the proper health coverage. I had pet insurance with my previous dog but I wasn't completely satisfied with the coverage so this time I decided to shopped around. I examined the top ten rated pet insurances listed on line. Embrace Pet Insurance offered both an accident and illness policy and a wellness policy. Both policies are important to me. The Wellness Policy s something you use annually for things like shots and teeth cleaning.Veterinary costs are expensive but when you love your pet they become family and you want them to have the best veterinary care. At 8 weeks of age Bailey needed all the usual puppy shots plus a flu vaccine. The heartworm and flea medicine isn't cheap either. At 6 months we had Bailey neutered and he had to have some baby teeth pulled that were interfering with his adult teeth. All of these things were covered at 100% up too the $400.00 annual maximum. Embrace also offers direct deposit directly into our checking account and that made receiving our reimbursement that much faster. I haven't had to use the illness or accident insurance yet and hopefully I never will but I have it for Bailey just in case. It gives me peace of mind. My first Yorkie had cancer of the mouth and the surgery was so costly but it saved his life for 6 more years and I don't regret our choice. He lived to be 18 years of age. That's the reason I have pet insurance. Embrace gave me opti
