I recently lost my dog and I had to cancel her insurance. It didn't start until a few weeks out so I sent ASPCA an email asking what the policy was for the loss of a pet. It took them about four days to get back to me. One of the representatives of ASPCA Pet Insurance called me and said they cancelled my pets insurance and issued me a refund. They were so understanding and so very kind. I highly recommend ASPCA Pet Insurance. Thank you, ASPCA, for your kind and encouraging words in a difficult time.

My poor baby had a medical emergency
My poor baby had a medical emergency! I could not be happier with Trupanion. I was literally having a panic attack, as I have issues with anxiety and PTSD. The amazing staff helped me navigate the situation and get my claim in. My dog is literally my support animal, so if something goes wrong with him, I can’t always cope. This company is so compassionate and helpful. I will literally be recommending Trupanion to all my clients (I’m a massage therapist) and dog owners that I know. My dog would not be alive if it wasn’t for them. I will also be getting a even better policy for my best friend through them. I can’t thank them enough.

Buyer beware - 50%+ rate increase if you buy Healthy Paws
Buyer beware - Healthy Paws will jack your insurance premiums by 50%+! My pet insurance premium went up 30% when my pup hit 7 and then another 50% when my pup hit 8. So if you buy their pet insurance, you can expect double digit increases when your pet hits senior age. Healthy Paws will tell you premium increases of any amount is within their legal right, that your state approved the increase, that they are just doing it cover their increasing costs. The sleazy part of pet insurance is that the consumer can't just switch companies because future insurance won't cover preexisting conditions, so I am stuck with the double digit increases despite how unfair it is. I regret buying with Healthy Paws - you will get no sympathy when you try to explain the havoc this will wreak on your budget.
