My 78 lb. Ridgeback Mix ate 4 pounds of Nestles chocolate chips (meant for holiday baking). I found him some hours after the consumption having vomited 13 time on my newly cleaned carpet (of course). My total bill for the emergency vet which included an overnight stay was $1,200. I was reimbursed 560.58 which was about what I expected. I spoke with a woman on the phone who made it very simple to submit the claim.

Just started our pet insurance with embrace and it has paid off already. We have a very clumsy puppy and have already exceeded our deductible. I have already recieved 2 checks from them for two different claims.

Very simple to submit claim. Quick response. Did not pay 80% as expected because the "reasonable and customary" prices are higher here in California.

My dog was hospitalized and we ended up with 2 visits totaling more than 1500.00. I submitted photos of my bills and was very happy that trupanion paid 90% after my 400.00 deductables. I had a 400.00 deductible per visit which was the deductible that I chose when I set up my plan. I was emailed a reply from trupanion with a breakdown of coverage and notification that the check was in the mail. This was the same day that I submitted my forms and photos of receipts. Thank you for such amazing service. :)

I recently filed two claims under my ASPCA pet insurance, one for each of my dogs, Schultz and Honey. ASPCA claim forms are very easy to complete; the questions are very straightforward. It takes less than 30 minutes to print out the forms, answer the questions, attach the vet's invoice and get the package in the mail. ASPCA sent regular email updates on the process, especially when there was a delay in getting additional information regarding Schultz's illness from the vet. ASPCA kept me updated on their attempts to contact the vet and notified me immediately when all the information had been received and the claim processed. They notified me the same day that the reimbursement check was on its way. I have had insurance on both dogs for many years and ASPCA always fulfills its obligations under our contract.
