no worries

This is our 2nd operation with our dog that is covered by Trupanion. It has been so great that we did not have to worry about the costs. We would recommend Trupanion in a heart beat.

Great service

After only having my kitten for 3 months he chewed up part of one of his toys and ate it. He started having stomach issues, including vomiting and not eating or drinking. Took him to the vet and he needed a fecal test, X rays, blood work and an IV to find out what was wrong. The bill quickly neared $1000. After he got all better, I submitted my claim which was very simple and easy. After a couple days a check was sent to me. The whole process was very simple and there was no surprises or issues with what was covered.

We are so thankful we decided to get Healthy Paws!

Nayah is a beautiful, super sweet pitbull mix my husband and I rescued... she's our only child. We discovered Nayah had a cyst-like growth that was pressing on her spinal-cord that could have very likely caused her to eventually not be able to walk. After seeing vets, specialists, and an MRI she had to have a surgery which kept her in the hospital for days. It was very expensive, but we were so fortunate we decided to get pet insurance just in case for her. We've heard too many sad stories about people either not being able to help their pets medical issue because they couldn't afford the medical care their pets required, or of people going into debt from heavy vet bills. Healthy Paws monthly payment is very reasonable, their reimbursements are quick and easy to submit through a simple smartphone app, and it gives your furry friends a much better chance at the happiest, healthiest life possible. I hope those who have pets will consider getting good pet insurance and give your pets the care and attention they deserve.

UTIs and Struvite Crystals

Our year old Golden Retriever has been challenged with recurrent UTIs and struvite crystals. It's been a labor intensive process with several office visits, ultrasounds and urinalyses. The majority of these expenses were covered and quickly reimbursed. It couldn't be easier to file a claim and the customer service staff is knowledgeable and professional. In addition, the monthly premium is reasonable. We are so pleased that we decided to purchase pet insurance and that we chose ASPCA.

So grateful Embrace covered our rescue dog!

When we adopted Dahlia (a 3 or 4 year old Belgian Sheepdog) from the Cuyahoga County Shelter in late September, she came with 60 days of free coverage from Embrace. Dahlia had been a stray and developed health problems while on the street, including heartworm. The shelter nursed her back to health. She is sweet and loving, and immediately became part of our family. In late November, she suddenly had difficulty breathing. It was a Sunday, so we took her to an emergency clinic where they diagnosed her collapsed lung. There was leakage of air from her lungs into her abdomen, and she as very uncomfortable. Our regular vet confirmed that the choice was either euthanasia or a specialty clinic. We went to the clinic, where they inserted chest tubes and drew the air out. In about a week, her lungs healed, stopped leaking, and we were able to bring her home. She is recovering very well. We are thrilled with the customer service at Embrace. First, her name was Poppie at the shelter, and all the papers we submitted had the name we gave her, Dahlia. Embrace asked nicely about this and now all our paperwork has both names. They were also very understanding that three people in our household were involved in her care, so the policy and the bills show different names for the owner. They carefully looked at Dahlia's history at the shelter and her wellness check when we first adopted her. They honored the start date of the policy as the date of adoption, which fulfilled the waiting period for an illness. They paid based on the exact deductible and 80% covered by the policy. We were concerned they would say there was a pre-existing condition, but this was an unrelated illness and they were good to their word. We are very grateful that Embrace offers 60 days of coverage for shelter dogs, as we had never heard of the company before. We are very glad to have Dahlia home with us. We are very satisfied with Embrace. One thing is for sure - Dahlia will remain covered by Embrace!

Well worth it!

I have a senior dog, so I was worried there was a lot that would not be covered. She was in overall good health when I bought coverage from Embrace. During the year, she began to exhibit signs of not feeling well, and after blood tests, x-rays, and an ultrasound, it was determined that she had hypothyroidism. All of the tests were covered and so is the thyroid medication! She recently tore off a toenail and the vet visit and meds to treat the injury were all covered without question.I am extremely satisfied with their response rate and the understanding customer service. I highly recommend the investment so that you never hesitate to do what is best for your pet based on cost.
