Must Have for a Golden Retriever!
When we first got our puppy we were contemplating pet insurance and a couple of friends recommended PetsBest. We decided to sign up the day we picked her up and it's the best decision we ever made! She had a bit of a rocky start, eating a sock, getting a bladder infection, ear infection, and giardia all within the first 8 months. While these were all stressful times, the pet insurance was able to relieve some of the financial stress. Absolutely would recommend!

Peace of mind and great service
Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is 3 and 1/2 years old and we got Healthy Paws insurance when she was born. It has been a great decision and we have turned to them many times. Their response time for reimbursement is amazing!! Sometimes we are approved for reimbursement for medication or tests on the same day. More involved testing such as the MRI only took 2 days. It has been a blessing to know we have Healthy Paws to ease some of the stress when our fur baby needs medical care.

My pup at 1.5 years old had to undergo…
My pup at 1.5 years old had to undergo a major operation to repair the malformation of his skull. This was causing him pain which was progressively getting worse. Without our puppy insurance this wouldn’t have been possible.I got puppy insurance when I purchased my pup in case of some sort of potential accident as I wanted to be able to look after his future medical needs.... My nephews dog had swollowed a t shirt and it was very hard for them to foot the required bill. Anyway, here I am with a pup with a medical condition and he needs regular medical care..... I’m so thankful for Trupanion and how awesome they are to work with. A fantastic partner in raising my puppy!

During the most stressful of times it’s nice having trustworthy insurance
During the most stressful of times having insurance that’s so easy to work with is really a blessing. Having several friends with the same insurance, I knew my dog would be covered — no big worries there. I was able to spend all my time worrying about my dog’s health but not vet bills. She had all the diagnostics and treatments she needed. At the end of the day I’d take a photo which uploaded directly to Trupanion. Within 24-48 hours I was notified of approval. I’m ever so grateful. And my dog is doing very well.

Best decision we made
My husband wanted to get pet insurance for our leonberger when he was a puppy. I thought it was a waste of money and was against it thinking they wouldn’t cover anything. Well, I was wrong and am so glad my husband pushed to get this policy. Trupanion has been fantastic and so easy to work with. They don’t cover only what they clearly state they don’t cover in the policy. Otherwise they have covered all the unexpected injuries our leonberger has experienced with a simple online submission of the bill. They get the records from the vet directly and have covered everything we submitted that was eligible. Highly recommend Trupanion!
