The service has been great. My only suggestion is that your service representatives should be more informed. They was I contacted customer service shortly after the passing our my dog Abby to and asked about cancelling policy and to verify that they received the vet records they requested. The person I spoke with informed me that I should keep Abby's policy in place while the claim was being processed. I called them 3 weeks later for a status on her claim and spoke to a different customer service representative. She informed me that it was not required to keep Abby's policy open while the claim was being processed and closed it. She also said that any payments on the policy would be refunded and they would be in contact with my employer to inform them that my payroll deduction would be terminated for her policy. I received a letter Nationwide soon after offering their condolences.
