Words cannot express how thankful I am…
Words cannot express how thankful I am to Healthy Paws during a very stressful and scary time. My beloved French Bulldog all of a sudden started shaking and her back legs were super wobbly and unstable. I rushed her to the emergency vet hospital where she was examined with suspected IVDD. They kept her over night for medical hospitalization. The stay itself was over $1300. I am so grateful that I have such great pet insurance in situations like these. Not only did they cover majority of the cost, and they sent me an email to check up on my Frenchie to make sure she is doing well. I can't say enough great things about Healthy Paws. Truly a life saver!

Great insurance if u want to get ripped off
Great pet insurance if you want to get ripped off. The first year was great then they increased the rate by 1/3 % even though they claim your price is locked in. Go elsewhere!!!!

20 yrs of premiums equals ZERO customer…
20 yrs of premiums equals ZERO customer loyalty We were told we had met our deductible. only to find out that someone at the company had entered a claim in the wrong place, therefor we protested and were told the "review" could take 30 to 90 days before resolution. Our dog has been diagnosed with a cancerous growth that requires immediate attention. We are seniors on a fixed income and were counting on the company to expedite Our "review", no can do, not their policy no empathy for us or our beloved pet. Terrible Customer Service Will drop them ASAP. Not even rated in the top 10 companies. Caveat Emptor

I recommend to everyone who asks!
I have Trupanion coverage for both my girls, and actively use it for both. They are female labs, one just turned 8 and one is 2. The youngest has allergies and needs monthly injections which are covered by Trupanion and the 8 year old is going through a costly diagnostic process due to reflux. Trupanion pays my vet immediately (once you have met your deductable) and takes most of the financial stress off of us when making decisions on caring for our girls health. I recommend it to everyone I talk to who asks me about it! My initial thoughts were this coverage was for the "big stuff" however we are 8 months or so into this reflux issue and the $500 or $600 tests, meds and prescription food add up in a hurry. With the 2 year old she's had allergies from a pup so that has also added up. What's the saying....you don't need it till you do? So true!
