Worth the peace of mind!!
When we decided to adopt a corgi, I knew after researching the breed I wanted to buy pet insurance. Trupanion was the only policy I could find that pays up to 100% with no cap on payouts. When my corgi was nearly eight months old, he started vomiting one night into the next morning. We did not think twice about how much it might cost to have him seen. We took him to the Emergency Vet. Trupanion paid 100%. He continued to throw up after the special diet so we took him back and they admitted him for observation. The vet was so happy when we told her we had pet insurance and wanted to do whatever needed to be done to help our boy. He ended up having a blockage of a whole small potato and Trupanion again paid 100%. They have customers for life. We are beyond grateful and will be telling all of our pet friends about Trupanion!!

Vets want to know that they can care for their own pets as veterinarians without being scared insurance won’t then cover their pets needs. We are amazing pet parents who catch thing early which saves money and keeps up with prevention which also decreases claims, so I’m glad to hear veterinarians can be seen as also loving pet parents that need insurance on the ones they love and care for at home too. Also, the specialist was very nice and thorough.
