The process was confusing because our breeder had us sign a contact that said we could sign up the day before receiving our puppy and we were told otherwise on the phone with no other direction.
The process was confusing because our breeder had us sign a contact that said we could sign up the day before receiving our puppy and we were told otherwise on the phone with no other direction. I ended up doing everything by myself on the Trupanion website and that was much easier.

Trupanion is quick to determine eligibility for reimbursement. You can always talk to a real person for customer service and they have always been empathetic and helpful. I don't need insurance to cover routine pet care, that's part of owning a pet, but for an emergency, illness or accident having Trupanion gives me the peace of mind I can give my boys the best care, without worrying about cost. I recommend them to everyone!
