Would give 0 stars if I could

Would give 0 stars if I could. Said they would ‘investigate’ pre existing conditions against the insurance - no problem with that it’s normal procedure. They emailed me multiple times with the same questions and I sent the same response back. They then sent me a long list of things my dog can’t be covered for but he has never ever been treated for these and the dates of the supposed vet visits for the ‘pre existing conditions’ were before my dog was even born LOL. Don’t bother.

Couldn't do it without Prudent

We have 6 dogs insured with Prudent Pet. We are very happy with their service. To my experience, their claims team reacts really fast to any of the claims we submitted so far. Without this insurance, I could not give our dogs the life they have. Our most senior dog is a 12 year old lab. A while ago she started having issues walking and lifting her back end. We had to take her on her walks in a cart. She is now getting chiropractor adjustments every two weeks and going to a rehab vet every three weeks where she is getting some PT, acupuncture and laser treatments. Without Prudent, we would have had to let her go half a year ago. She is still very clear in her head, and it would be awful to make that decision for her, just because we couldn't get her the treatments that keep her going. We just had another one needing the removal of 5 masses that looked like mast cell tumors to the vet. Luckily, they came back benign, but we were able to get them surgically removed with Prudent's help. Another one of our dogs is a Shar-Pei mix, and he unfortunately suffers from Shar-Pei fever episodes. He, too, needs frequent medical attention. With 6 dogs there is always something, and we are so happy we don't have to do it alone. I did very thorough research before I insured all of our dogs, and Prudent was the best solution for us, covering the most issues for the best rate.

signing up for policy

I was having trouble signing up for a policy. I called your company and got all the correct help from your employee Kevin that I needed. Thanks for Kevin. In just a few minutes it was complete. I will be with your company as long as I have a pet.

They find every reason not to pay...

I have 2 pets covered by Embrace Health Insurance and it seems like no matter what the issue is, they find a reason not to pay. I never had problems like this with my previous pet insurance company. For example, my dog injured her knee from wear and tear over time because she's extremely active and when she developed a limp, I took her into the vet. Embrace refused to pay claiming it is a skeletal disorder, which is not covered during the 6-month waiting period. When I pointed out this an injury, not a widespread disorder, I was told I need to specify a specific incident/accident that caused the injury if I expected them to pay. It has been a rinse repeat for virtually every claim I turn in for both dogs. I highly recommend you look elsewhere if you want to get your money's worth.
