Read the Contracts, then Pick FIGO

I am extremely analytical in nature. I probably studied the details of pet insurance for 40-50 man hours (also putting it against just saving money in a savings account) before deciding to go with FIGO. If you narrow it down to the top 2 or 3 and compare their coverage, it's easy to see that FIGO covers quite a bit more with fewer exclusions. Anyway, on to my personal story: my "boys" two English Bulldogs, 1 and under 1 have not had great luck. The youngest got pneumonia, racked up a 1900 between the emergency vet and regular vet within the second month of having FIGO. I held my breath because I had read so many awful reviews online of other companies but they were truly wonderful and I totally trust them now after repeated positive experiences. I wish their hadn't been so many claims this first year but I'm chalking it up to the puppy stages with these guys.

First beer bill submitted, first bill paid.

No complaints so far. My Vizsla had a bump on his back removed and Pets Vest covered as expected. The only reason I've given an 8 instead of 10 is because they raised my rate $25 after first year.

Amazing customer care! Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough great things about Healthy Paws. My Frenchie Pork Chop was throwing up all night and my regular vet did not have any openings on a Saturday. I had to take him to an emergency facility where they found an intestinal blockage and he needed surgery right away. Before agreeing to any payment with the facility, I called Healthy Paws to make sure the items the vet was quoting me were in fact covered under my plan. Healthy Paws was able to reassure me that my claim would be covered so that I could proceed with Pork Chop's care quickly. I am happy to say that he is now on the mend, and I submitted my claim to Healthy Paws and within hours I was notified that everything was approved. Healthy Paws went above and beyond in making sure my baby was well taken care of. They even sent a follow-up email to make sure he's feeling back to himself!

Genuine & Helpful

Healthy Paws answered all of my questions, and there were a lot before we signed our baby up. I took him to the doctor like weekly, because #crazydogmom and they explained what would and wouldn't be covered based on the "pre-existing" condition, I was very happy and surprised with what was covered even though he had been seen for it in the past. About a week after we enrolled our guy torn his ACL and they we so supportive, checked in on him and reimbursed me quickly. They even cover Physical Therepy!! Having insurance for our fur baby is the best decision we have made! I highly recommend Healthy Paws!

Glad We Signed Up; Well Worth It and Great Service

We enrolled in both Accident and Wellness. We have not used the Accident Insurance but the Wellness is incredible. Claims paid within 3 days of submittal (via direct deposit). Joy was 3 months when we enrolled her and Wellness was very helpful. I researched all the pet insurance company and deducted that with Wellness Embrace was the most cost effective way to go and the most flexible. It is good to know that if anything happens we do not have to worry how we are coming to pay

Don't get 24PetWatch Insurance!

This insurance company sucks! I've faithfully paid premiums for 11 years for my cat and never filed a claim until last year. My cat developed a severe case of pancreatitis due to a corn gluten allergy. She's recovered but has to be on a vet-prescribed diet for life, which is covered. However, every time I file a claim, it somehow gets lost and has to be faxed again. Worse, it takes at least 60 days for reimbursement and, they require the same 30 plus pages of documents from the vet and specialist EACH time I submit a claim. This is despite the documents clearly stating this is a chronic issue that can't be cured. The reimbursement is minimal compared to the amount of premium I've paid over the years. And good luck getting through to customer service. They are the WORST!

Healthy Jazzi

Jazzi has been insured since 2010 and we are so happy with Embrace. Fortunately, Jazzi has been a really healthy girl so we have only used her wellness plan. It's reassuring to know that she has coverage in the event it is needed for an emergency or illness. She is a little angel after all.

Pets Best is the best!

My dog has severe allergies and has been prescribed Apoquell to help manage them. Pets Best covers 80% of the cost of his meds after the deductible has been met. I usually receive my money within days of submitting the claim.

Amazing service!

I was out of state when my dog had a medical emergency. I took him to my daughters vet who examined him and had me take him immediately to an animal hospital for possible surgery. Luckily he did not need surgery but the bills were very high. Embrace reviewed my claim and authorized total reimbursement except for my co-pay. All of this within 10 days!
