Long wait, but worth it
Although the claim did take a LONG time to process (about 2 weeks), I am so thankful that Trupanion was there for my cat. His bill was just over $2000 and I only paid about $450 after insurance! I would not have been able to afford his vet bill without it.

Every single person I have encountered in dealing with my dear Nemo's illness had gone above and beyond to "make things happen" in a timely way, so no delay in treatment, treated me with compassion and dignity, and very quickly paid the vets and reimbursed my expenditures involved, even during the holiday rush. They do exactly what they promise, with no hassles. This insurance company "is the one"!

Review of our claim was completed on a timely basis - shortly after submittal. The reimbursement amount was more than fair and the reimbursement payment was made promptly. Altogether, SPOT did a great job handling this claim.
