Very supportive and sincere.

On April 30th I lost my service pet Pearl. She was my resource of dealing with chronic pain. The Embrace staff made the paperwork and so easy. I recommend this company highly I had 4 dogs with this company. I have never had a problem from them.

Pleasantly surprised.

We have selected a $200 deductible, 90% coverage/10% co-pay. It's around $68 a month for our young dog. We have a 5 month old labradoodle that was suddenly having loose stools for over a week and also an itchy , stinky ear. We took to our local vet on May 1st. The bill was $235. It included prescription food, ear drops, vet visit, abx for tummy and a probiotic called Fortiflora for 2 weeks. The vet sent off the form for us sometime after we left, I assume the next day as we were late in the day and the Dr had not written it up yet. On May 3rd we got notification by email from Pets Plus Us that they had received it. On May 9th we got the receipt/calculation/reimbursement info by email. They do not cover the Fortiflora due to our plan. I think it's because it doesn't carry some health number, etc. I knew some things would not be covered going into this . Probiotics, I believe, are not regulated as of yet in Canada so this is understandable. I am receiving the total back for our prescription diet even though we have not met the deductible as prescription food as no co-pay or deductible is applied to it. Happy about that! Pets plus us has great customer service and the claims turnaround was way faster than I expected! Really happy we have coverage with them.

Thankful for A Neighbor's Referral to Healthy Paws

After waiting for a long time to add a dog to our family (making sure we had adequate time to devote), we thought over the important decisions whether or not to get pet insurance & if so, from which company. We had considered 3 referrals from people who had high recommendations. Very happy & thankful that a neighbor referred us to Healthy Paws! And the hope was (and still is) that we wouldn't need to use it. But recently our fur baby partially tore his cranial cruciate ligament & needed TPLO surgery. Our experience was exactly as other Healthy Paw subscribers have attested: Customer service, claim process & reimbursements were absolutely efficient & seamless. There was plenty to do during post-surgery, so it was great not having to worry about claim issues! We also got a follow up email with well wishes. Now, as we meet others considering pet insurance, we have our experience to add to the recommendation. Very grateful to our neighbor & Healthy Paws :)

Outstanding company

We chose Embrace insurance for our animals several years ago after looking at every company out there. Embrace has lived up to and beyond our expectations. Our oldest cat was recently diagnosed with lymphoma and is responding beautifully to treatment. Claims are simple for the vet to submit thanks to the pre-printed form, Embrace acknowledges receipt immediately and keeps us posted on progress, and we have received checks within a couple weeks. The website is easy to use. Embrace has been a reasonable, compassionate, and responsive company. We appreciated being able to customize our coverage at the beginning, and how easy it is to communicate with the company.

Truly the best Pet Insurance and A+ Cust. Service!

Words cannot describe the relief I had that I after much online research- decided to purchase insurance coverage for our boxer Franklin. When I purchased his insurance- Franklin was only 7 months old and was only planning on worse come scenarios in case he ever contracted any of the medical complications boxers are prone for never thinking after a $3300 stomach/intestinal surgery to remove a foreign obstruction - was beyond elated to find out the reviews I had read were all true regarding fast reimbursement for nearly 2/3 of his medical fees- let alone, such genuine, kind customer service from Healthy Paws while dealing with this major trauma. I have been spreading the word to anyone as many people possible as this has been such a tremendous financial relief knowing our Franklin has insurance coverage for medical emergencies. - Scott from Golden, Colorado

I feel very frustrated that i pay so much money each month- Close to $7000 in total since i joined 3 and half years ago and i have had to pay nearly $2000 to the vet up front for my pet to be looked at when he was extremely ill and then wait up to 6 week
