I wouldn’t recommend to a friend.
My experience with using trupanion is good, however, I would not recommend your insurance because it is way too expensive even at high deductible amounts and even though I signed up when my was a puppy 10+ years ago, the monthly premium just keeps going up. I would recommend to anyone just to set aside the monthly premium amount that Trupanion charges, ie put it in a bank account to use in case of an emergency with yet. In the end, most of the time when you consider the deductible, services that are not covered (ie. the exam) and the 90% coverage, you will be further ahead.

My call was taken promptly and Christopher kindly answered all my questions. He confirmed that nothing had recently been submitted by my vet and then took the time to explain how to file a claim online. I was then able to easily submit the information. It's really nice to be able to speak directly to a person (I prefer speaking with a person rather than an online chat). I also very much appreciated that Christopher was genuinely interested in Wolfe's well-being. Thank you for the great service!
