My cat had a surgery recently, and it costed me 8000 dollars, luckily I have the insurance from Healthy paw. The claim process was very quick, and I received 6000 dollars. Can't imagine what should I do if I don't have the insurance for my little baby.

Just signed up, it was very easy. Looking forward to working with ASPCA Pet Health Insurance. Coverage looks good, I was impressed with their site and with the available plan that I chose.

I'm impressed!
We have had a plan with Healthy Paws for 3 years now, since we got our pup. We just had to file our first claim for a hospitalization and follow up vet visits. I was AMAZED at how fast and easy it was. All I had to do was email a copy of her medical history and a copy of the vet bills. It was processed and a check was sent out within two days. I'm impressed!

Not recommended
Takes a minimum of 4+ Weeks to receive reimbursement. It can take 3+ weeks for them to even register that they have received your faxed claim. Categorizes pet issues incorrectly. Have twice reduced our coverage from 80% down to 50% because of claims we have made. We pay premiums for up to $5000 per condition per year and have not exceeded this amount. Poor customer service with extended phone waits and a call back system does not work. Emails can take weeks for them to return. Always have excuses for their poor service…
