Amazing service

We have had two cats with serious medical problems, and very high vet bills. This insurance has been amazing - it's easy to submit claims, easy to see what is and isn't covered, the money is deposited quickly, and the follow-up calls are personal and much-appreciated. One of our cats died last year from a brain tumor, and everyone I talked to was compassionate and caring and helped us through the time. This service is amazing.

Healthy Paws has processed our claims quickly, efficiently, and 100% in line with our agreement. Their app is easy to use, they send reimbursements in a timely fashion, and a customer service rep even reached out to check in on us to make sure all was ok when our dog was sick. A+!

Fantastic coverage and efficient services

ASPCA Pet Insurance was highly recommended to me by my vet after I got my French Bulldog puppy. The coverage and benefits have been great and were fairly priced. Claims are quickly assessed and compensated for. Most importantly, the individuals working for ASPCA Pet Insurance have been FANTASTIC! At one point my puppy became incredibly ill, which resulted in a flood of claims. The staff at ASPCA called on several occasions to ask how Scout was doing and also offer recommendations where they could. I recommend them to all who are looking to insure their pets.

Our Cockapoo Schatzi

I am very happy with ASPCA Insurance. My claims are handled very quickly by faxing them in. They also send the reimbursements very fast via the direct deposit method into my bank account. I highly recommend this Insurance. When you own a pet you never know when a catastrophic illness can happen.

Will always have it

Aspca insurance has never once let me down. I've spent well over $15,0000 in vet bills for my rottie and I would have more debt than my husband's student loans if it weren't for ASPCA pet health insurance. Recently we had to stop halfway from Virginia to Texas at an emergency vet where my dog had to be hospitalized for 8 hours. It was a relief to know that I wouldn't be 100% responsible for the full payment.

so far so good

we've had our puppy one month and have had nothing but great experience so far with petfirst. I spoke with Stefani who was PHENOMENAL in helping me choose the right insurance for our new puppy. She provided great feedback and made sure we had the proper and best coverage. She's continued to help even after completing the policy. The only complaint I have is the system seems to have a glitch and is not showing a recent claim that was submitted. Hopefully this gets resolved soon but overall very happy with the experience so far.

No Coverage for "Pre-existing Condition

I was very pleased with PetFirst with the policy I had for my late Greyhound. When he had a sudden and tragic death with multiple bills, they covered much of the expense. I increased the level of my coverage for our new rescued Greyhound whom we adopted in September 2016. Most recently, she had to have major dental surgery for severe periodontal disease. They had to extract 16 teeth and she stayed overnight due to possible bleeding. I would consider this very serious. After submitting the claim and including all the paperwork, the claim was denied. The reason I received through a phone call to the company was that this was a pre-existing condition. How so? I had taken her to the vet on October 13th. Because I didn't begin my new policy for this second dog until October 14th, her dental disease was a pre-existing condition!!!! This was a major expense of over $1200 dollars. I was confident I would get a little help with this. My benefit? $0.00. I know there are rules and regulations for all insurance companies, but this seems unfair. Up until now, I have been very happy with this company. But the "rules" of insurance companies are clearly something you should be aware of. Very disappointed. I cannot say I wouldn't recommend this company, because this is one situation. Just know the rules and read your policy.

Best choice we could have made!

When we were preparing to get our new puppy in December my wife suggested that we look into dog health insurance, because we have had so many friends over the years that had dogs get sick or hurt and and up with large medical bills. So I searched online and talked to other owners. After looking over all the information and talking to several companies Healthy Paws to me was clearly the best. Then about three weeks ago our dog hit a pole while running and broke his leg and knee. I used the healthy paws app to file a claim, which was easy before I even left the vets office. Next thing I know a couple of days later the charges were approved and I received a check for over $2500. It was so easy and the customer service has been incredible. They even sent a follow up note checking on Chloe!!

I rave about Healthy Paws

I rave about Healthy Paws to my friends. I have two pets insured with them, and have had some pretty hefty bills for one of them. I will never regret insuring the other - even if I don't have to access it. I am so grateful for the true coverage, customer service, and prompt reimbursements. I had a large bill on Monday, the vet submitted the claim, and by Thursday, a reimbursement check was on its way. At a time when our leaders are putting the health insurance of millions of Americans on the line, I'm not sure they are making America great, but in regard to ensuring that our furry loved ones are cared for, Healthy Paws is on it!!
