Being a fur baby parent is very important to us. We love our pet and we want him to have the best care possible! We are happy we made the choice to get pet insurance from the initial months of his life. Trupanion was recommended by our breeder and after reviewing the policy and speaking with several agents we were confident we were in good hands.

just 4 stars for now. Website a little cumbersome,but customer serve rep friendly as well as knowledgeable. Put in a claim for wellness exam we'll see how that goes.

while the insurance seems promising
while the insurance seems promising, they are very slow to process claims and it appears more difficult than anticipated to get things covered and guidance of procedure for claims and how their program works is lacking. As Someone who tries to be on top of things, this has proven a challenge, but the help staff has been kind. so far does not feel like it has been worth the efforts but maybe time will prove that wrong.

Worth the investment
I've never had pet insurance before, but after a neighbor incurred a large vet bill after a Coyote attacked their dog, I decided it would be worth looking into. After researching the various companies and the policies they had to offer, Lemonade had the best policy fit for what I was looking for. About 6 weeks after I got the policy, our dog got injured at the dog park and the claim process has been very smooth.

Trupanion pet insurance is absolutely the best insurance on the market today.
My dog, Theo, has had several illnesses and accidents since he was a puppy. He has had two major surgeries. He is my family and I would do anything for him. Throughout all of his ordeals Trupanion has been terrific. They pay claims very promptly. I cannot say enough good things about this company. It is nice to know that while I am under a great deal of stress caring for my sick dog, I do not have to worry about the expenses associated with his illness. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Completely satisfied with this company for SEVERAL YEARS!
We have an 8-year old golden retriever with several ongoing medical conditions, AND he is a scoundrel and eats everything and thus has had TWO blockage surgeries. Healthy Paws has been a life savior, literally, each time. I could not have spent so much money without knowing I would be getting much of it reimbursed. We have probably spent over 15K on this dog and I love him dearly and am so grateful to Healthy Paws for providing such excellent coverage and response times since he was a puppy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!
