I haven't exactly "used" the Trupanion insurance yet. I did just mail in a claim. I had to mail it because I couldn't complete the form and send it without having to join and pay a fee. When I mailed it to the address on the bottom of the form, it was returned to me because the address listed was wrong. Becky gave me the correct address which should have been listed on the form.... I should be able to just complete a form, attached my bill, and send electronically without having to pay a fee. If I was doing it wrong, and there's a way to do that, I couldn't figure it out.

Well see how the process is in the future. This was an initial claim that was less than my deductible. I would like to see how it goes when claims will be covered by trupanion

I called Tracy due to recent bad press on true panion not covering a dogs health bills and saying it was a preexisting condition even though the vets said to the contrary. So I called to find out if this is happening a lot. She recommended we do a footprint of our dog. I like this option and it makes your service more transparent. But I am still sceptical when it comes to insurance companies. They are usually ‘the bad guys’ and I’ve heard more negative stories than positive.

Fast service. Monthly rate is fair. Love that the older pets we rescue are covered.

I love that I have the ability to discuss the claims at a time that convenient to me and my schedule. With associates available 24/7 who are not rushed when you speak with them and their caring nature makes the often traumatic experience of having a pet who is ill, I am comforted by your focus and processes.

Easy to use, great customer service. Human health insurance should be so easy to navigate.
