Fast claim response

Jellybean went in for wellness check, routine shots and had an eye infection. Received antibiotic drops for his eye and is doing well. This claim was handled quick. However, our last two doves went in for serious concerns. Our 13 month old had to be put down a week before Christmas due to a degrading brain condition. Our oldest done, Lucy, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma a couple of weeks later and she passed away three weeks ago. These claims are dragging on. It's been almost 4 months for Calvin and they keep wanting more records from the vets. His only records were nail trims and puppy shots. He was healthy until the night he got sick. If the claim is large, they want to drag it out. However, I spent a lot of money on these pups and I spend good money for coverage and I've gotten dragging feet!

Made a difficult time easier

We signed up for Embrace pet insurance in 2017 after our cat Albus passed away unexpectedly from heart disease. We previously had our pets insured through Nationwide but I was unhappy with the policy options and did not feel like I was reimbursed fairly after Albus passed away. I felt that Nationwide’s plans were limited, hard to understand, and filled with loopholes. We moved the rest of our pets to Embrace and I am so glad that we did! After being insured by Embrace for over a year, our second cat went into unexpexted heart failure and passed away within 48 hours. Because I was able to customize my Embrace policy, I knew EXACTLY what our plan covered and was able to make the best decision for her comfort, health, and end-of-life care without having to worry about what Embrace would or would not cover. Embrace covered approximately $2,200 in emergency vet bills and the full $600 bill for her in-home euthanasia and private cremation. I feel as if their customer service went above and beyond in processing the claims timely, answering my questions about sending in claims after her passing, and showing compassion when it was time to cancel her policy. Submitting the claims online with my phone was also extremely simple. I feel that Embrace practices honesty in advertising since there were no negative unexpexted surprises when it came time to receive my reimbursements. Between my wellness coverage and my insurance plan, they actually ended up covering even more than I expected. The claims were both processed in under a week and th funds were back in my account within days. Because I was reimbursed fairly and timely, I am using the claim reimbursements to fund the upfront costs of a preventative care plan for my remaining cat, which will also be covered by her wellness plan. Having to worry about money and insurance claims is the last thing I wanted to think about during this difficult time and Embrace made the process as simple and possible. I recommend Embrace to all of my friends and family (probably a little too enthusiastically) and I will continue to use Embrace for my other pets for life! Thank you for all that you do for pets and their owners!

They safe my dog

I had insurance with Healthy Paws for several yrs. I rarely file claim, I am glad that I didn't cancel the policy, my dog (9 yrs Cocker Spaniel) is not an active dog, I thought I will never really need it. But suddenly she injured her knee and limping so bad that require a surgery (over $5000) I found that dogs very common to have that injury call ACL. if no surgery , she will be limping for the rest of her life. Lucky, I have Healthy Paws insurance, they are not only honor to pay the most of the cost and they care about my dog, they ask how my dog doing. I am so happy Healthy Paws are here the entire time to help me to remove the stress and burden.. And my dog is doing great. Thank you very very much Healthy Paws

Awesome!

I have had Embrace for 3 years now, and I have never had any issues with claims or anything. Customer service is superior. Embrace has allowed me to focus on caring for my puppy, instead of worrying about how to pay the vet bill. Thank you, Embrace!

So happy I got insurance when I did

I was so happy I had a healthy bulldog but I was still worried something might happen and I would end up spending my savings if he ever got hurt so i signed up for Embrace. I am so happy I did. My little boy tore a ligament about 9months after I got the insurance and Embrace helped so much. They made me feel like they cared about his health and they worked very well with my vets. They reimbursed me for 80% of the costs of his 2 surgeries after my deductible. and I received the checks fairly quickly. It was great because since I had insurance I never had to decided if I could afford to give my dog the care he needed.

Considerate, professional but kind

The staff asked good questions and gave good directions in regard to claim. Also took stress away by arrangements to pay or deal directly with vet. Comments in emails were reassuring.
