We opted for wellness coverage witb out new rescue pup. She’s you g snd will hopefully be around for a long time. Lemonade has already served us well for getting her up and running on her shots and exam, snout to tail. Super easy to use and proving itself worth it.

My dog was diagnosed with cryptorchidism on his first puppy check up.
My dog was diagnosed with cryptorchidism on his first puppy check up. We had subscribed to Trupanion 2 weeks earlier when he was getting a puppy shot. We had no idea about the testicle. At the time of his first puppy visit to have an undescended testicle is not unusual. They can descend . We gave the testicle an opportunity to descend and it did not. Now for the well being of my dog (to prevent the development of testicicular tumor) the testicle should be removed and I will do it. I do feel that since we took out the insurance prior to his first puppy check up that the surgery should be covered.

we got a new puppy and at about 5 months old , we found out she has polycystic kidney disease . No real effective treatment and no cure , just don't know how long she will live since it is already stage 2 .....my claims were handled with concern and quickly !!
