My premium is starting to get a bit out of control.
My premium is starting to get a bit out of control. It started at $88 or so, and, is now $136. It's gone up 55% in three years - which, is kinda wild. Not sure if it's worth having it anymore with the constant increases...... especially the fact that I moved to a different area (kept the same vet) and because of that move..... my price is higher? Despite the fact that my vet is still in the same region..... Adjusting pricing based off of the customers location rather than the vet location is just silly IMHO. At this rate - my pet insurance will be more than car insurance.... and my homeowners insurance.....

When I first signed up it was not transparent that although there was ''no waiting period'' there really was and that should have been more transparent.
When I first signed up it was not transparent that although there was ''no waiting period'' there really was and that should have been more transparent. My dog's illness was not covered even though I thought I was doing the responsible thing. That is the only reason o went with Trupanion without thinking of the others because they appeared to offer something the other companies didn't but they were really no different. The experience left me feeling super upset and unsure of the integrity of the company. I stayed because I had not had not taken the time to check into other insurances. I have not been able to recommend trupanion to any of my friends because of this experience.

Fantastic Insurance
I have been using Embrace for years. I even used it for the senior dogs I had. One of my young dogs cost somewhere around $2600 at a surgary clinic. I got reimbursed $2000. I get wellness covered and medication with them. I just bought Bravecto and got reimbursed.

Easy Claim Processing
I’m very impressed with Pets Best insurance so far. It’s very easy to file a claim. Unfortunately, our dog has had several health issues lately but Pets Best has rightfully approved all of claims without trying to find a loophole to get out of paying, like some other insurance companies. Our rates have not been raised, either. Overall, we’re very happy with this insurance.

Amazing and compassionate service
I can’t say how lucky I am to have Trupanion. I was always wary of pet insurance. When I was growing up, the vet warned my mom against it for our house full of pets so we never looked into it but when I got my own pets, the vets urged me to reconsider. It’s been lifesaving for them and for me. Unlike every other kind of insurance I’ve dealt with (both personally and as an attorney) Trupanion is efficient, easy to use, incredibly low in cost, and most importantly, has quite literally saved the lives of every single one of my cats multiple times, no questions asked. More importantly, when two of them were extremely ill, staff contacted me just to ask how they were doing and when one of them passed away, they sent a condolence card. There is no way I could have afforded the proper care for these cats on my own and knowing that Trupanion had my back has made it easier to make the right choices for their health.

Exactly what I was hoping for since paying over $100 a month to have insurance on my pet, since he was just a puppy, and he is now 7.
