I cannot recommend Pumpkin highly enough!
I debated getting pet health insurance for my two cats for a few years, but I didn't move forward until I found Pumpkin. No other provider I looked into offered preventative care coverage or dental coverage, while preventative care is the bulk of my vet costs. I wish I had signed up for Pumpkin sooner! I have so much peace of mind knowing that I can spread out the cost of my cats' health care over the year instead of being surprised with large bills, and that I can afford both preventative and emergency care for them. And, it certainly doesn't hurt that Pumpkin sent my cats bandanas and personalized toys in their starter kit; they are big fans of the toys :)

I CANNOT BEGIN TO TELL YOU HOW GLAD I AM THAT I CONTINUED TO INSURE RAVEN . SOMETIMES PEOPLE THINK THAT BECAUSE THEIR DOG IS WELL THAT IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY. NOT AT ALL. FIRST OF ALL BE THANKFUL YOUR PET IS WELL AND THEN THAT YOUR PREMIUMS ARE MOST LIKELY HELPING ANOTHER PET OWNER WHOSE DOG IS NOT WELL. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE DAY WILL COME --AND IT WILL-- WHEN YOUR DOG NEEDS HELP. I JUST SAY AFTER ALL THAT TIME IT'S MY TURN NOW. IF I DIDN'T HAVE TRUPANION I WOULD STILL FIND A WAY TO PAY FOR HER TREATMENT BUT BELIEVE ME HAVING TRUPANION IS A GODSEND. RAVEN IS 11 1/2 YEARS OLD, HAS CUSHING'S DISEASE WHICH REQUIRES VERY EXPENSIVE MEDICINE TO KEEP HER ALIVE AND WELL , SHE HAS OSTEOARTRITIS AND IS ON A VERY GOOD MEDICINE WHICH IS HELPING. AND CURRENTLY HAS A NON HEALING WOUND THAT WE ARE TREATING. SO YOU SEE ALL THOSE YEARS WITH TRUPANION H AVE PAID OFF AND I WILL NEVER BE WITHOUT PET INSURANCE A SHOUT OUT FOR MY VET AND HIS STAFF TOO. THEY ARE THE BEST AND CARE FOR RAVEN AND ARE DETERMINED TO KEEP HER LIVING A QUALITY LIFE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. THANK YOU.

absolute garbage, weaseled out of a huge claim
What a waste of money. I paid for coverage for a year and a half to have them weasel out of a big claim. Pet insurance is the scam I was afraid of. Will never do it again.

Great coverage, great customer service.
I had Pet's Best for my older rescue dog for 4 years. They covered everything they said they would. Filing claims is incredibly easy, although reimbursement takes a bit, it always came. Their customer service was great, after I had to have my pet put down, they reimbursed the prorated premium. Based on my experience, I'd definitely recommend.

Look no further - the BEST
We adopted our puppy at 10 weeks old and she just turned 2 yesterday. She's had an eventful first couple of years including: - distal fibula fracture #1 (xrays, CT scan, more xrays, meds, and 1-2x weekly splint bandage changes for 8 weeks) - anaphylaxis #1 (injected meds) - distal fibula fracture #2 (all of the above plus a 3rd CT scan, a custom brace and 2 months of physical therapy) - anaphylaxis #2 (above + labs, epi-pen) - therapeutic massage for muscle atrophy/misuse of other muscles related to twice broken leg - anal gland abscesses x2 that required antibiotics ....I think that covers all her non-preventative care. Healthy paws has been AMAZING. We have saved probably close to 10k by having it. Getting reimbursed has been super easy, customer service is phenomenal, and they even reach out to check in with personal messages to see how my dog is doing after they've seen a claim. I cannot recommend this company enough.
