Should you purchase pet insurance?
Quick to respond. But insurance never covers costs of the appointment (which is always an expensive part of the invoice) and once they remove the deductible and then the 90% they cover, we typically get back less than 50% of what our billing costs were. Unsure whether insurance coverage is worth the monthly costs depending on individual pets health needs....

Healthy Paws was totally there for us!
Our totally healthy 1-year-old golden retriever, Charlie, dislocated his hip while running in the woods behind our house. We were with him, and we saw him leap into the air and just tumble to the ground in pain. We have had many dogs, but we never saw anything like this. It was just bad luck. He required extensive surgery to repair his hip. Thankfully, we had chose Healthy Paws as our insurance, based on customer reviews. They covered exactly what they advertised, and we were reimbursed in just a couple of weeks. The whole process was smooth and pleasant. We felt totally supported by Healthy Paws. Charlie has now made a full recovery, and we are hoping for many, many years of excellent health. If anything should happen, we know Healthy Paws is there. Thank you Healthy Paws! Because, I have been very happy with the service and the reimbursements. The only thing more I would LOVE is Help with the exam costs. I mean the yearly exams/vaccines, urgent exams and the required vaccines. I DO TELL EVERYONE THAT WE HAVE TRUPANION??
