Trupanion is so easy to use and so reasonable. Their premiums are reasonable, their coverage is reasonable, and their response time is reasonable. So happy with Trupanion!!

Not like regular health insurance
I might suggest they look around. My dog a potential, but not proven upper tooth issue a year ago. If it was a real tooth issue, one week of antibiotics would not have fixed it. She then had a lower jaw tooth issue 6 months later, which required her to go to a few different vets including a dentist. Instead of looking at what had happened last year & making a decision, Trupanion decided to look at the rest of her medical records for even beyond that issue in June. It ended up taking months to get it figured out, when Trupanion should have been focusing on what had happened up until the date of the issue in June. Not taking every other medical issue after that. I also am not happy that it isn't like regular insurance. The deductible is per case, not per year, and the premium can increase like car insurance any time you have a medical issue. Not like real health insurance. Which doesn't seem fair.

I have always had wonderful customer service with Trupanion! I think the prices are fair and thankfully have never had to use it yet but have no doubt that the customer service would be stellar for that as well!

Amazing company. Customer service is excellent,friendly and very helpful. The refund cheques are very prompt after the invoices are sent in. Quick and easy signup, with throughly explained benefits
Everything was very intuitive and simple. I was able to adjust my deductible easily and change my premium. The benefits were thoroughly explained, and separate coverages were broken out into logical components. I have a good friend that works for Trupanion, and she sent me a link where it was quick to create a quote for my cat, so that sped things up.
